Sumo TV is not what you think it is.

Posted by thomas93
What is it?

Noticed it on SKY but never tried it :-/

Posted by arien617
Was some dumb slut sending kisses out to random lonely sad men.

Where's the sumos?! Grr.

Posted by thomas93
Can I get more channels?

Posted by Danny_BFC
This is ace thanks alot..

Setting it to always on top while on msn or FF is top =]

Maybe a silly question but is a TV license needed for this?

Posted by haynesycop
Would have thought so, if you've got a TV which most people have then you've nothing to worry about.

Posted by smilerthe cheshirecat
Another question... can people outside the UK watch the UK channels... BBC etc....? As it is the BBC we pay our TV license for...

Posted by haynesycop
Good question not sure how that would work. You can buy packages in certain countries can't you? Like BBC in America and i know a friend of the family who lives in Majorca can get it, obviously she pays for it, like sky etc etc.

This is not UK only. It once started with Switzerland, been in Germany since last year, too.

PK: Over here you even have to pay for internet capable computers as you could receive TV streams with it. I think in the UK it's the same:

You need a TV Licence to use any television receiving equipment such as a TV set, digital box, DVD or video recorder, PC, laptop or mobile phone to watch or record television programmes as they're being shown on TV.

So...

How can you NOT have a TV?

This is great but it does not work from my uni network...

Posted by LesleyAnn
this is great... i'm always missing the beginning of fave programmes cos i've got to finish work, or i just forget cos i'm so engrossed...

this solves that one!

thanks Fatreg!
