@wei8in

the last pic is nice, great colour.

@ H_rY

if i'm not mistaken, slow sync means high exposure time or also called slow shutter speed. correct me if i'm wrong.

thanks Vudu for replaying
but i noticed that the possibility of catching a blurry picture is very high i have to take the same pic several times to insure there's no blur
with the original driver catching a blur pic with is rare unless you r really shacking

is that has any thing to do with permanent EM thing which i dont fully understand?

EM and SEM actually have slower shutter speed (longer exposure time), which increases its' possibility for pics to get blurred. but at the same time, you will be able to capture brighter and more detailed (less noise) pics in low light. if you don't want the pics to get blurred, use auto or faster shutter speed.

your drivers were great, i really love the customizations you've done. picture quality is also great. just one thing i noticed lately, when taking pics in low light using slow shutter (EM or SEM), the pics produced sometimes have somewhat vertical lines which is visible when viewing close up. even your photos in your flickr have that if you look real close. could it be that it is caused by your driver? this lines didn't show up in the original cam driver. hope you would kindly look forward to this problem, because if it didn't have this problem, your drivers are perfect. the best cam driver i've used.

I also found same problem as yours. Formerly, i took photos in convention with original camdriver and most of them has good sharpness. Recently, i went to convention again and used Supermode camdriver, and half of them are blurred. And same as u, i always take a few photos with one scene and then choose the best one with acceptable sharpness.
Besides that, Supermode camdriver is really a great one which we can customise many parameters as we like.

not sure wether that was true, as i'm still experiencing that eventhough i'm using EM, which used ISO 100. it could be a hardware issue, but i didn't experience any of that vertical lines on original or other modded cam driver. this driver was great, only this issue is stopping it from being perfect.

Posted by Raiderski
@l+3r 3g0
i didn't experience any of that vertical lines on original or other modded cam driver

visit Flickr.com or Esato gallery they are full of pictures with lines. most of these pictures were taken with original driver and it's not either dependent on K phone model. lines were, are and will be, because it never was a problem caused by any driver

i'm still experiencing that eventhough i'm using EM, which used ISO 100

1. ISO100 can pretty well minimize lines but not eliminate them completely in some rare cases. why? I don't know
2. SEM/EM used in not quite low amount of light won't work. seriously, I don't remember any of my SEM/EM shots with lines

this driver was great, only this issue is stopping it from being perfect

sorry but I really don't like to be blamed for something which I did not. this is a dark side of modding

cyber-shoter
for sunrise and sunlight shots force ISO100 to avoid lines
BTW. very nice shots

can't there be anything done to the flash? it's rubbish really, even with the original driver i can take better flash pics

can't the flash be improved, for example firing multiple times..like the k850, 3-4 times

Posted by Raiderski
Rezk & tphg
no problems with autofocus accuracy on my phone in low light (tested many times and compared with original settings). maybe there's something wrong behind different firmware versions? it's still fine on my R1KG001. I don't know but you can try this:

in seq_set_prop_9_5= and seq_set_prop_9_6= change #SET(32,04) to #SET(32,00)

compare results before and after change and let us know. good luck

recl
even with the original driver i can take better flash pics

3 things...

1. there are no differences in xenon power settings between original and modded (except of lower ISO in macro mode)
2. read point #1
3. read point #2

if you like original driver then go and have a lot of fun with it. I did quick examples of "really rubbish" xenon in total darkness, look how awful they are:

words are getting more and more ridiculous, not only on Esato. my work is being trodden and I'm blamed for things completely independent from me. it's good time to say goodbye. no more comments from me about this driver - officialy it's dead

Thanks Rider

Hi recl, Merry christmas!

Those pics by raider were shot in "total darkness", that's pretty impressive by my camphone standards.

But of course when compared to digi-cams at far range in total darkness you can't expect much

Btw, why do you think its a drawback ? , the flash really helps me during low light conditions + Raiders enhancements (EM, SEM) \m/

Merry Xmas to you too

what i don't like about the flash pics is that some areas get brighten when they should be dark, the only driver that managed to improve the flash pics was the withan driver. that's all i had to say. i'm sorry if somenone was offended, it wasn't my intention.

--------------------------

think instead of criticize. lower xenon ISO value in driver code and you get your effect. besides, 'improved' only because pics are darker? not for me but this is one from many reasons why I created customization.txt

don't get me wrong. i didn't blame you. sorry if i made things messed up. i didn't know it wasn't caused by the driver. i was just hoping that you could do something with the lines. but if nothing could be done, then it's fine. maybe i'll have to find a way to reduce it. anyway, your driver was great. way better than the original, even better than other modded driver. i really appreciate your effort. keep up the good work.

what lang. is this?

-Hungarian.

Én bennem alapból semmi gyűlölet nincs a románok iránt, recl "jókívánságai" azért elárulnak némi egyéni színvonalat.

Békés karácsonyt mindenkinek! (románnak és magyarnak is)

Merry Xmas to every man!

vudu, lejjebb ott a sorokban az AF-en mit állítottál?

Posted by vudu70
A seq_set_prop_9_5 -ben az autofókuszálási módot átllítottam a többablakos módból egyablakos módba mind normál, mind teljestartományú lencsemozgás esetén, mivel a többablakos AF mód néhány firmware esetén lassabb/pontatlanabb, makrónál pedig a lehetséges ráközelítési táv növekedhet.

Posted by vudu70

Posted by Cayman
