im planning to buy a new phone to replace my trusty old w810i
what i need:
- good cam
- good music player both with headset or with speaker (louder than w810)
- good battery!
- will last!!
i absolutely love the k850 design and i think it has all that i need but im hearing a lot of negative feedbacks with it..damn and its the only phone which has this design that i love..i like the N82 as well but i know nokias have bad battery life, batt life is a must for me sorry nokia..there is c702 too, i only like these phones coz they have 2.2" screen and i watch movies on my phone a lot..also i heard playing videos on k850 dont sync with sound?how true is this?
i need an honest and reliable answer from k850 users, is k850 stable with new firmware?will it last a long time?ive had my w810 for almost 2 years and i want my new phone as long lasting..i also heard a new firmware is coming with the release of new handsets this june..

Nokia N95?
Camera - Carl Zeiss Optics, 5 megapixels, autofocus, flash, etc.
Music - Nseries music player with album art, stereo speakers and headphones.
Bettery life - new firmware extends battery life for music playback for up to 3 hours.
Will last - of course! With all the features!!!
There is a 2.6" screen or 2.8" screen if you get the Nokia N95 8GB.
Sony Ericsson W910i is okay, but the camera is really letting it down.

thanx but ive used my friends N95..it simply cannot keep up with me..i listen to music about 6-9 hours a day while working in the laboratory!plus its too big for me, nokias are really the real deal package-wise especially N82 but the batt is still a let down so il buy a SE for now..and i want to use my HPM-82 coz it looks cool lol
ive narrowed my choices to k850 or c702..i want some opinions from k850 users how is the phone?Ö yes w910 is good but i want an AF cam..plus these phones arent too costly K850 price has gone down and prolly c702 will have same price range more or less..

if i get good feedbacks from k850 users ill buy it!if not il wait for c702(not too good looking though), or wait longer for shiho?g900 is also good but i think it looks too plain..

Ah, there's a thin line beteween plain and classy. IMO, G900 is on the classy side. Besides, its user interface IS kinda flashy.
Also, you don't like any of the newer walkmans?

hrmmm..maybe i will wait for g900 as well! so itll be k850, c702, g900..g900 will probably more costly though..
nah ive hated how SE now puts non AF cams on their new walkmans..

Uhhhm, well you've basically said theres something wrong with all the decent SE camera phones!
C702 - Not good looking
K850 - Problems
C902 - Small screen
G900 - Too plain
There's not much else! Well nothing that would be a decent upgrade to your W810i... I say either wait for Shiho or accept the faults in one of SE's current offerings.

Ah they're always buggy!
Well actually all brands seem to have problems with bugs when they bring out a new software platform (which Shiho will have). Not saying its an excuse, but you kind of have to expect it for the first few months.
Apparently Shiho will be 8MP and have really good zoom, which could (and likely does) mean optical zoom. So on the camera side, Shiho sounds like it should meet and exceed SO905iCS specs!
