Ok this is going to sound like a silly question but when I first had my K810i it was very slow - texts were slow, the background never moved (which its supposed to), it was very slow moving through the menus and would knock itself off - its also on the Orange network.

The thing is I found some information on line which gave instructions to change a setting in my phone and when I did the phone was absolutely fine and i have had no problems since. My brother in law now has the same problem with his Sony phone but I cannot remember for the life of me what I changed on my phone to speed it up.

Can anyone help? If not no problem

Thanks

Use .jpeg background images instead of animated .gif images.

Still, it is strange. Try reflashing it.

the instruction given to you might be a "master reset" which sets your phone's general settings back to factory default.. be careful though as doing that may cost you some valuable data you have previously set on your phone.. for further information about a "master reset", please consult your phone manual..

cheers.. hth..
