Hi guys, I hope someone out there can help me.
My W880i is not detecting my HPM-70 headphones when I plug them in. The headphones work just fine in my other phone (K530i).
The socket on my W880i looks fine, the phone hasn't been used much at all..
Can anyone explain why they are not being detected? I'd be very grateful for any help

Sounds most probably like a problem with the FastPort on your W880i, try inserting your headphones and try carefully wiggling the connector slightly to see if you get any sound.

Yeah I've tried that, I don't think that is the problem - as I say, the port looks perfectly fine. I've tried other headphones in the socket too, HPM-61 for example, and nothing works...
I recently got the phone unlocked/flashed/firmware upgraded - could this be anything to do with it?

yes, no headphones work in my W880i, but they do in my K530i.. I don't think the port is the problem though, seeing as chargers etc. work in it fine

Any ideas?? Just tried a master reset but that didn't work either... Can't believe it... I mainly bought it for the walkman!!

just take it to your service centre to have it checked
