Wow, I didn't even see this thread. I like the topic this month.
I actually had a B&W pic for last month sitting on my phone, but because the thread wasn't bumped to the top often, I forgot to post it and missed the deadline!
But it wasn't as great as Razec's, so congrats to him!
@Trogdor: I think your picture is great. I like that you have taken a different approach to the 'life' part, rather than use the somewhat expected scenes of shoppers or skaters or party goers, etc.
Also its cool how you caught it in motion, with such a vivid sky!

unfortunately, im currently in Abu Dhabi.. where in there is no life but malling.. geez.. i'll try to go to dubai within this month to take a pic of burj dubai & burj al arab..

if your artistic enough you can explain how it's relevant to the subject.

its actually quite political..
The layout of canberra, our nations capitol, is much like that of a spiders web, very symmetrical and uniformed. The Spider represents our newly elected labour government in the centre. The dead flies are the symbol of the common middle class people, and the fact that they are dead shows us that there is no good to come of a labour government, it will destroy our country from the inside out, much like the way a spider eats it's prey.
