It always depends on what you want to do with your phone.
The K810 is good for taking pics.
The w810 is good for music.
The N73 is a s60 smartphone so you can do many things with it.

thanks for the response.

do you have these phones ?

is the sound quality of K810i is too bad ?

or its similar to W810i almost ?

Posted by Yakkaimono
I only got the w810i and the sound is really good. I can't say much about the sound of k810i but you can always search on esato about it I'm sure that you'll find the answer to you question.
Friend of mine has a N73 and it is a decent phone.

A friend of mine had the K810i, his sound wasn't that good, but it's a camera orientated phone, and it's brilliant for that side of it

I have a W810i and the sound is good, but not brilliant in my opinion.

thanks for the response.

i already have a cell phone.

However, i am planning to buy a new cell phone because i do travel and so i can enjoy music on the go.

But i feel , its not better not to buy a new cell phone rather i should buy an iPod as i am really interested in music.

can you tell , does iPod's sound quality is better than music phone ?

does Ipod has FM radio in-built ?

can you suggest an iPod model . I have no experience in ipod .

some of you might be having ipod ....do you enjoy music in that Or its better to buy a music cell phone ?

please advice

If you're gonna get an MP3 player, get the Zune 80GB. IMO you'll regret getting an iPod, and AFAIK it has no built in FM radio.

If you don't listen to too much music, get some good Walkman phone. The W960i is nice if you like flexibility (Symbian).

I'd go for the K810i - as it Supports Tri Band + 3G UMTS - plus the buttons are great, and its got a Xenon flash, rather than a poncy 'LED'.

Its a Great phone, and highly recommended.

from your choice i can see that u are looking for a mobile music player.. right...okay..
this three phones has some unique features...
like k810i... thats has some coolest features like 3.2 MP camera..secondary video call camera.. all the music player features.. have a very nice and sleek looks.. available in two cool colors...64 mb internal memory.. same about w810i.. very nice music player---all the coolest features... the thing people like most about this phone is the looks..this is one of the good looking in the cellphone world.
but the n73 has some thing unique... nokia.. they have the best and most user friendly cellphones among all the cellphone manufacturer..
the looks is awesome.. available in two most exquisite color.. very very good qualities of music player.. 3.2 mP camera with carl zeiss optics..auto focus.. 3d built in stereo speaker.. all the other updated technology...
if u wanna ask me about which phone u would like to buy.. among all this three.. it is better to buy Nokia N73 Music Edition...

he is right, otherwise nokia wouldnt have almost 40% of the mobile sales and one fo the reason is the userfriendly menu

Posted by >500
one of the main reasons why nokia has such a large market share is the fact they have been around the longest. Nokia, its the brand name, many buy it for that sole reason.

Im not saying they dont make bad phones at all, we all know they can make class leading devices.

Any way, go with the k810 or n73.

if you need symbian, go the n73. otherwise go k810i.

Posted by carlgsm
i dont understand what does it has to do with symbian or other features..
surely he was looking for a phone to use as a music player and i believe that among all those three phones..nokia N73 has the features that will suit him... and anyway when ever people want to buy a phone to use as a music player it is sure that he or she is gonna use it rough and over use as well.. in that case i believe actually everybody who knows little bit about cellphones will agree that no other phones have that kind of battery life and durability than Nokia phones...so please try to keep that in mind...

Durability ? N73 ?

Posted by carlgsm
pls write the reason to laugh..pls..other wise pls put any other smiley's which is not irritating...

Posted by Marly
Well, a laughing smiley looks friendly, not irritating ?
As for the N73 : my brother-in-law has it, his third now, within eight months, and yesterday it died again.
He would rather throw it against the wall, but he can't, as it's his phone from work.
Now he's forced to use his spare Nokia 1600 and this little thing is durable, unfortunately it has almost no functions, so it's not usuable for work.

marly is right. n73 is everything, but not durable. very bad built quality, housing and joystick, not to forget the keypad. sadly very poor construction, nokia didnt gave its best...

Posted by carlgsm
thats what i was trying to say.. pls put the reason or any explanation why u dont think its durable...otherwise people get confused.. one of my friend is using this phone.. he was about to buy an i pod ---but then he changed his mind to buy it because of getting a mobile and music player together.. and he is using it for more than six months and he is still okay with that...
So every people have different views and experience as well.. sure N73 is not the most durable phone in the industry but surely more durable than the other two phones...

imo w810 is far more durable

I pretty agree but the lack of camera cover will brought issues like scratches etc. among the three options i suggest K810 - it's a pretty decent all rounder yet it is highly moddable(if you are a fond of modding anyway). N73 excels in wide application support but you have to face some consequences like frequent slowdowns, hanging etc. i don't know whether N73 has some major build quality flaws except it's keypad(letters that worn out after some months) and unreliable and slippery joystick.

The truth that depends on how you are! because if you like you like to take pictures or record videos or listen to music! good in my opinion I do that I had the N73 will recommend it! because it makes the best videos k810 and even more than the w810 the Speaker of n73 are superior to both SE and the pictures are also good day ...

The only control is that the n73 has no flash xeṇn as k810 the k810 magnificent photos taken at night is great rather like saying 90% to 10% k810 of n73! the only advantage of k810 are photos and videos and music n73 certainly ... also uses the symbian n73 and duficiente that's because there are so many applications you can put him to symbian! decicion is yours and I told you just what is wrong in the n73 is in the picture at night! nothing more and if the recording is wonderful as I said earlier that besides night you can use your flash LED to illuminate N73 ... is your decicion;)!

I'm guessing the original poster is not a fan of modding, as he seems to have very little knowledge of these things (no offense).

I would go for the K810i, despite the N73 being better featured. The reason being that the N73 likely over-complicates things with features and software for somebody that seems to have little experience with phones. The K810i still does most of what the W810i does, and adds a better camera, etc. I would assume the two Sony Ericssons would be cheaper too...

Now, the original poster said they are a music fan. If this means you enjoy high quality music and sound, then it would be better to get an iPod or any good brand dedicated MP3 player, such as Sony, Samsung or Creative because the quality of a mobile phone is not yet up to dedicated MP3 player standards. However most people find that a mobile phone is satisfactory for their needs, so it is not necessary, it is just a good idea if you like high quality.

I don't know if N73 is better than K810 with regards to audio quality. besides it's loud stereo speakers, i can't deem which is better when we compared it's quality using HQ earphones. and most of the time people do not use loud speakers when playing music while walking on the street or etc. they prefer using earphones.

I'd go for the K810. W810 doesn't have A2DP, a must have for a music phone IMO.

Why is it a must have? Its more a novelty than anything else. There are many many wired headphones which are better than the best bluetooth stereo headphones.

Posted by carkitter
Headphones are not the only A2DP compatible accessories

I agree. I have owned a W810 briefly. I sent it back because I was very disappointed with the sound quality which suffers from hiss especially noticeable at low volumes. It was the first music phone I ever owned. The K810 (if not all SE phones) has the same problem but if you use bluetooth headphones, the problem is barely, if at all noticeable. Sure, you might not get Megabass but you can adjust the equalizer if you really want to.

I would definitely go with the K810 - it's a massively superior phone, the W810 is ancient in comparison! I don't think you'll be disappointed, it looks and feels like a real piece of quality and I don't think it lacks anything important over the W810. As for the Nokia I can't comment.
