Hello, I'm studying for an exam on Sony Ericsson's joint venture agreement and am just wondering whether anyone here know's the actual terms of agreement between the two companies and where such information maybe listed.

In particular I'm looking for each companies input in the manufacturing process. I'm aware they outsource the actual production of phones, but does anyone know how sony use their competencies in consumer electrical goods as a part of the agreement? And how does the company manage downstream processes (Such as Sales and Marketing). Basically i'm lookin for each companies role in Sony Ericsson.

Plus,

Sony Deal with everything in the Japanese Market - from designing, to building the phones...

While Ericsson do the same for everything outside of JPN, so thats the US, Australasia and the EU...
