... of (sony)ericsson phones, this is the 1st time one have left me.
My K850 all suddenly passed away.
While i was holding her gently, she gave me my last sms report and died.
Shivered a few times... and silence
Her display went slowly to midnight darkness, only the brightest of the keypad lights were visible.
Now she's in a better place.

only five months of life?serious health problems I presume

Posted by crossmatched
maybe your k850 had congenital defects...

Posted by bearcub24
She's at peace now....maybe the best thing for the K850 is to administer euthanasia, its for the best.

give up that easily?? com'on...

Posted by crossmatched
try to revive her. there is hope as long there is life (the user not the phone )

of all the k850s i've seen, this is one that has lasted the most. may the warranty be with you.

Posted by crossmatched
personally, imo k850 is a mistake... that cost the position of mr flint
sorry. off topic

You can flash the phone using da vinci or other clientr supporting k850 flashing.

my w900 died a few months ago too. but i was able to revive her i just upgraded the FW

File system tweaks, software modding, poor firmware update fixation.. lack all those things contribute to your K850's early death. death of the phone itself and death of the user's interest to use the phone further...

K850 and P990 - SE's biggest mistake due to their neglect of support

I remember now similar thing happened to my old K800i couple years back. I woke up one morning and went to switch it on and it was dead. Nothing. It had died in its sleep.

I'm a k850i owner aswell, should i be worried by the number of negative threads on this forum? I still have the original firmware, cos the only means i can update is thru fone, but SE 4 whatever reason don't release latest firmware over the air? I randomly get fone crashes, but is this simply delaying the inevitable!

you can use SEUS on ur pc

Posted by BobaFett
seus wont help is such a case, its just for fw upgrade and only for working fones

Normal users do not have access to Emma.

i've lost my warranty void.
is there a different way i can put life back into my brick?

Posted by Duran
Sounds like BROD to me, reflash it with davinci..

I recently bricked my P990 through modding and re-modding and it was easily revived with SEUS. It couldn't start at all after I installed the Walkman 3.0 startup/shut down screen. And now its up and running just fine. As long as there's life, there's hope
