Dear guys
I'm new to this forum and new to k800i. i have an "Operation failed" problem with app & game folder and when i googled it i found that i should flash my k800 to recover from this error. now i have 2 issues:
1. How can i fully back up my current MAIN, FS, CUSTPACK? in someway that i can restore phone to current state if flashing fails or i was not satisfied with it?
2. Where can i find exact MAIN & FS & CUSTPACK for my k800?(any download link) i currently have persian language as my phone language(specially i use it for text), i think that i should use K800_R1KG001_FS_M_EAST_N_AFR.fbn( i have downloaded the file) because it contains persian, farsi, but i'm not sure.
3. How can i find that the MIAN & FS & CUSTPACK are correct ones? and are working fine with each other?

Thank you tranced, i have visited that links before and i currently use My phone explorer.
1. I want to backup firmware not other setting as i can restore it using XS++[containing language & file system and custom packs].
2. in cybershot.4shared.com there are many Main & FS files but none of them is M_EAST_N_AFR [that contain persian language]. I DONT KNOW THAT I CAN USE OTHER ONES OR NOT??
Please help me with firmware versions and names in detail, thanks.

ARABIC firmware for K800i
you cant backup the whole firmware. what exactly you want to backup from the firmware?

Dear tranced
Because it's my first time trying to flash a SE phone, i just want to have a chance of restoring my k800i to it's current state[if flashing failed]. This is why i want to have a backup. and i dont know many things about firmwares, i know only what i have read in forums, not more.

eerrrmmm, you cant just backup the firmware just as you say. but in case the flashing goes wrong, just backup your gdfs as this seems to solve the problem with bad flashing.
