Half the staff at my school belong to that union so it'll deffo be shut on the 24th if the strike goes ahead!

Lot's of teachers belonging to the union get an option to strike. Many choose to work to rule i.e no covering lessons or helping during dinner etc. Hopefully you'll be lucky and they'll shut your school! My college will still be open still though

Yeah, most N.U.T. members, including myself, are striking on the 24th.
NASUWT aren't though.
The N.U.T. is by far the biggest of the teacher unions.
