I installed SE update service which i downloaded from SE home page yesterday.
OS ir WinXP Pro SP2.
Adobe flash is latest.
RIght now it cheerfully displays swirling animation which turns to SE logo for about 10 minutes already. Looks it got itself in a loop.
Is there any thing i can do to make it work? Because nothing i press seems to make any effect

Don't ever use SEUS again. It will damage your phone.

Could it be firewalled? It will get stuck at this point if it can't connect to the web, as this is when it checks for updates from SE's servers.

@Marcis: I've had the same problem on two computers running Vista today and yesterday. One had the program installed today, and one had it installed months ago. I have no idea whats up though, but you're not alone.

Why will SEUS (sony ericsson's own updating system) damage phones?
Maybe if the user was clumsy and unplugged the phone to earlie in the process or something.. can you link me somewhere were this can be studied or read about?
But what i know is that SEUS updates some specifik phone modells to CID53 which disables some modding on it. (If it haven't been cracked yet)

well it did kill my w800...i didnt unplug it while updating... after is done downloading then it start to install to my fone but it stop around 40% n say error during upload... n now my fone juz wont start up at all
i use da same SEUS to update my k850 n works perfectly n da same for k800

I update my k800 whit SEUS, I din't unpluged the cable until it finished, and after that when I start my phone it show me the message "Insert corect SIM card". It dosn't work whit any kind of SIM. Now my phone is in service. Search Google for this and you'll find many similar problems.

Some time ago SE support had told me that your PC locale needs to be set to UK English. Try it if you have connection problems.

true i was first time in my life use a seus to reflash my k850 from 029 to 031 phone was work 8 days after updating ,brod.After i was got another brod after 20 days,now last 12 days i wait new motherboard!it's something f... up with seus?i hate seus!be4 upgrade i was got several usual problems on 029 but in over a 3 months i got not never brod!seus is abbsolutely quity!
