I gave up on facebook a while ago. although my spamwall (my name for the funwall) was interesting with the ammount of crap posted on there.

Yeah i deleted my account a month or so ago... The spam and crap you constantly get sent or asked to join up to was just too much!

Yeah, I considered deleting my facebook account until I played about with the privacy settings and now at least I don't get the email alerts every time somebody goes to the toilet.
But those bloody zombie and superwall apps still do my head in. Surely it wouldn't be difficult to include a "Don't let this app ever contact me" button or such like?

There is a "block individual applications" section in your privacy settings - profile section now. Not sure if it's a new thing or whether I've just not noticed it before but anyway, it's there
