Kinda hoping Paul knows what to do with this one,

Help me please?
I've got the ISO file but no idea on what to do etc.
I canny work out how to do the MD5SUM thing.

If you do, could you make a list please, multi-post step by step won't help because I'm typing this on the computer I intend to install on.

to be honest, you should wait untill the latest version of ubuntu is available (thats what i'm thinking of doing)

ive installed the beta version of hardy on my laptop (not my macbook)... it is simpler to install and some nice new features ( there's only a 24 day wait untill the new version )

as for putting it on a mac, i'm not that sure...? (my dad put it on my MBA for me lol)

Alright then, could I not just delete it when the new one is released?

I've partitioned 25GB for it already and etc.

Basically I failed.

I made a partition and everything but it won't let me install on it -.-

Stuck in live disc mode so I'll just do what you said Paul

Have you burnt the cd correctly?

Yeah I checked it over for errors etc.

It DOES work in Livedisc or whatever they call it mode.
Just can't get it into the partition I separated out for it.

effectively what it's saying is don't poison your mac with open source software!
