Sundin mo na lang advice ni prettywoman.
Check mo kung may GPRS signal ka sa taas ng GSM Signal mo. Kung wala, wala ka talagang GPRS.

ay naku. it might take awhile. a friend of mine got a new t68i a month ago and up to now, hindi pa din activated yung mms, gprs over wap nya. he did the 2951 and also OTA. but up to now, its still a bummer. talking about customer service satisfaction of globe.

Hanap ka ng may postpaid account na gprs activated at capable unit try mo sim sa unit nya o kaya sim nya sa unit mo. good luck!!

Hello. Try to create your globe gprs manually.Go to your CONNECT menu. Then DATA ACCOUNT, Create new account... GPRS account name:myGlobeAPN: www.globe.com.ph Then save it & go to your wap service OPTION WAP PROFILE profile name: myGlobe GPRS homepage:www.globe.com.ph/wapsearch/browser.asp#home connect using:myGlobe IPaddress:203.177.42.214 then save it. Go to select wap profile then select myGlobe GPRS -I hope this culd help you, no harm if u'l try diba:-)

If the problem is not with ur sim just keep on bugging da csr's at 211 until it gets activated. But hn the case of ur mms gud luck coz until now i stil cant use it dats why i also have a smart sim 4 mms!

if i were you id rather go to a business center,if you are near Robinsons Metro East i'll be be suggesting you to go to the globe business center there,because they are a lot more helpful than the people at 211 all they give are promises. TRUST ME it took me a week before they ACTUALLY ACTIVATED my gprs. And the a lady named jane in the business center is the one who activated it and the computer record proves it so if you want to get activated as soon as possible go to a business center.

@Slap, i advise u to stop calling globe crs. its better talking to the dead than 211. try calling globequest. 7301357. try mo muna mga suggested settings sa previous posts, pag ayaw pa rin, then call. wait, post paid ka ba? if not medyo nagluluko daw gprs ng globe pre paid lately

@jackalEwan ko ba kng bkit cnasabi parati ng globe na may problema ung gprs nila w/ prepaid,coz as far as i'm concernd since my gprs was activated there was no problem@slapkailangan mo cla kulitin bgo ma-activate ung gprs,so gud luck

actually wala naman sira gprs ng globe... Nasa sim lang talaga pag di ka activated well sorry...Buti na lang ako luma na sim ko and its working very fine... I loVe mah Fone

I guess its not only globe who has a problem with there gprs I'm having the same problem with smart too. Been to there wireless center and customer service still they haven't activated my gprs yet.

well charge to experience guys.With two weeks usage of my t68i with globe prepaid hi memory, it still sucks AS OF THIS WRITING.All my settings are correct and even i manually inputed the message globe server under options of MMS, still to no avail.I received twice the globe mms introduction yet i cannot download and open them(the downloading indicator keeps going and going and going and never slowd down).Checked with the "customer service"??? at 211 and they just that my gprs and mms are already activated from technical dept.
With my smart post paid,after activating its settings- Wap profile and MMS message server(manually-meaning i have to typed the message server http address),it works very fine.I can send and receive mms.Of course i could download mms via gprs and via sms(keywords from smart and sent to 234).Of course with mms with huge kb,the downloading and opening takes a longer time.The biggest mms i received from smart was around 85kb.But take note that not all the keywords from the sms/mms applies to the t68i and same with nokia mms phones.With such a good and acceptable service, the downside is of course,the BILL.Enjoy now,cry while paying later.But it is worth it .
From my personal experience with the two networks.So far so good with Smart.
