I am trying to setup WLAN on my new phone. I use D-Link router with WPA personal authentication and AES-CCMP Encryption (band is 802.11g). When I search available WLANs, my phone finds it and expect WEP to be entered. I updated the details by changing it under Internet (changed security to WPA Personal, AES, Ad-hoc). I managed to get connection with Adhoc channel and selecting right channel (but then security goes back to None). When I thought I had connection (it was showing as connected), I still could not access web (the message was remote server was unavailable). Could anyone please help me!! Is the G band an issue?? I looked through other threads but could not find satisfactory answer (I am not keen changing security type or anything else on the router, as i have currently two laptops and one PC connected - that was done by a friend, not sure if I will be able to reproduce
). Please help.
