Posted by Raven
How can you live without GPRS? I think the 9210i is pretty nice too, except for its weight, thickness and the lacking of GPRS...

Listen mate, dont bother. We have had discussions like this in the past, and no one gains anything from them. Discuss sensibly without using the words sucks, rules, etc. I would change the subject before you get flamed completly. If u dont like se, dont use this forum.

Ok, but wouldn't it be better to just buy a PDA then? Or a P800?

Why buy a Nokia 7650, when the SE P800 is available? The P800 beats the 7650 in every category.

BTW comparing a 9210 (which is more like a small laptop) to a moblie phone seems a bit strange in my point of view. But I guess that is the only way any Nokia phone can top what the T68 offers.

Well, the 7650 tops the T68 in just about every category.

Thanks for your response
tell me, how much did you buy the P800?

Posted by ppcrockar
@Raven

Well that is probably true.. except the lousy bluetooth of the Nokia 7650. But when I said phones I meant phones and not smartphones/PDA's. Nokia has no phone that can compete with the T68.

Posted by Raven
@Enrique

I payed 6750NOK without subscription. Which is about 920 euros. A bit much maybe, but hey that's Norway...

but you know .. i still like Nokia .. i know that the P800 is great device .. All in one .. Multimedia, PDA, camera.. etc
but the 7650 has a better look, menu, and the most Important thing, it's NOKIA

Posted by Raven
@Ppcrockar

Yeah, that's probably true.

Posted by Ego-maniac
I would say that is a bad thing!!!!

beats the T68 hmm how about the slinky look that does not make you look like you have a constant hard on when it is in your pocket.

I am not knockin ya! if ya like the fone great but this forum are for ppl that have a bit of style in there lives...

The P800 is soooo much better than the 7650. Touchscreen and larger screen with higher resolution and still with almost the exact same dimensions as the 7650.

Well.. when it says Nokia on a phone it makes me stay away from it. A Nokia is what it has always been, old technology with a new cover. The Nokia 7650 is actually the only Nokia I've ever considered buying (and that was because it uses the SymbianOS), but because I knew the P800 would come just a few months after the 7650 I didn't buy it, and after trying out both in real life... the 7650 is not even close to being a competitor to the P800.

Posted by Raven
Well, I have the P800 and 7650, and to be perfectly honest I think the 7650 looks alot better, and it's a bit smaller than the P800, but I am however selling the 7650 because the P800 really out-performs it feature-wise.

ESATO operators, if you guys see any of nokia idiotics fdamning sonyericsson again please ban them from posting any messages or better yet revoke their user registration!

This is an open discussion forum, where we discuss everything that is phone related. If you prefer a faschist community of some sort, I would suggest that you take your business elsewhere!

What about the orange spv, very ugly and no built in bluetooth but big on features apart from that. The biggest problem with the 7650 is lack on memory compared with p800 evan with standard 16 meg, the 3650 sorts this problem though that looks too weird..

The P800 absolutely beats the 7650... for an easy comparison use the "Mobile Phones" section here on Esato... but other than that the touch screen Symbian OS 7 beats the crap out the joystick only nav of the Nokia... its practically not even the same class. Screen is much bigger... especially if you look at the realtive size to the case. And lets not talk about built in memory... and expandable memory... the list just goes on and on. And of course I shouldn't leave out WorldPhone capability.
I'm not saying the Nokia makes bad phones... I definitely like their designs but when Nokia users say that the menu is cleaner and easier to use... I really have to laugh. The biggest problem Nokia has is they simply cannot put together ONE phone that has ALL the possible features. goes out of the way to that on the other hand... that is the big difference.

Yes nokia makes lowtech child phones and ericsson hightech advant phones

Posted by nookiehunter
Nokia definitely WILL NOT release a phone with everything in it for fear that nobody will pay attention to the other crappy phones they saturate the market with... that's why they release a new phone 2 months after they they've just released a new one... to drive people crazy...

Posted by Krubach
If you have a t68i and a 7650 try shoving them up your ass and then tell me which one hurted you the most...BEAT THAT! Keep buying nokia toys and leave real phones to men.

Not on this website. ;-)

I thought 6150 was pretty nice at the time. And 8210 looked sweet when it came but it was too much for me then.

Nokia = suXX!

Posted by crazyweb
Hey! See, You can't compare SE T68 with Nokia 9210i , this phones are not in same class...
I think you need to compare SE P800 with Nokia 9210i

P.S. Nokia - SUXX

I sort of agree with you, tho his comments or opinions are kinda childish and a lil offence. but I would say, for us phone users, should go for the phone thats good features, menu, reception, weight and looking. rather than being a die hard brand's fan

Posted by warlord
Enrique, no takers on your t68? I guess you dont have enough intelligent people around you.

apologies to Raven.

To each his own.. But 4 argument's sake, i dont think nokia rules, much more the 9210i.

Posted by brick
Whoever buys a nokia deserves a nokia.

Posted by Superluminova
ok listen up people! if the guy wants a nokia thats is choice and if he thinks nokia are better than SonyEriccson thats his opinion.

in my opinion i think SonyEriccson make higher quality products than nokia does, but that don't mean i hate nokia i love the 3650, 6200, 6800 but thats just me,

but none of these will be my next phone this baby will as it gives me all the features i need plus lots more and its so well design its just not true!

The people that prefer Nokia just doesn't use any features of the phones. They just use them for calling and sms sending. But as soon as people start demanding more from the phones, they see that Nokia just doesn't provide what is needed.

BTW.. has any of you tried the Nokia MMS-implementation, it is sooo limited and it sucks big time. It isn't even close to the SonyEricsson one.
