whats up with it? comming soon? price?thinking on getting a bt headset..the blue bluespoon is nice:P but when does the new version come out? dont wanna waste my money..the headset cost more then my t39 lol

btw any stores selling/shipping these in/to sweden?

Don't know about the release date of the digital Bluespoon but I wouldn't wait for it without getting the regular Bluespoon first. Yes, it is kind of expensive but if you have the money it sure is worth it. Every time I use mine I am amazed how small it is. Great product!

i have the money:) but its just stupid..the Accessorie are more expensive then the phone hehe

anyway if thats the deal maybe i should look around if anyone ship or have it selling in sweden..anyone know?
btw is the recieving end of the phone happy with the sound? the mic is by the ear and can they still hear you clearly or much/low background noise/wind?

because of the BS, i talk a lot more.

Posted by amagab
GREK> The sound quality in the Bluespoon is awesome compared to earlier headsets. The mic picks up your voice very easily. The people I have talked to on my BS hardly hears any difference. However, when in a really noisy environment it can be hard for the other person to hear you. I don't care so much about that though because I usually don't talk in noisy environments anyway. I think the BS is worth every penny if you use your phone a lot.

(its fine with other countrys shiping to sweden..but prefer a shop in sweden so the delivery and stuff gets alot cheaper)

ok nice..well now i have another problem;//
cant decide color:)

Posted by amagab
I would choose black or blue. The blue has a nice color to it but I got the black one because it is more discrete.

Posted by GREK
yes thinking something like that..the blue is kinda nice but the black to:)

Phones are usually subsidised when you buy it with a contract, but the BlueSpoon is pretty expensive nevertheless. It's still a little cheaper than a T68i though (without contract).

Digital BlueSpoon is supposed to include a DSP (digital sound processor) to clear up background noise, there isn't any release date yet and if the normal BlueSpoon was anything to go by, it will be a long wait. It's also likely to cost quite a bit more as the DSP is licenced from a thrid party and is extra specilised hardware added to the cost of the standard BlueSpoon. There is also some mention in this forum of a JawBone BlueSpoon that picks up your voice from vibrations along your jaw, this may give better results than a DSP in noisy environments - we'll have to wait some more and see.

The Special Edition (Blue) BlueSpoon looks nice, but is very bright as the device flashes every 20 seconds in normal standby. You can see the whole case light up in a very bright blue! The Panther Edition (Black) is a little more discreet as the shell is translucent Black which does not let through quite as much light and so is less intense.

Yes, the black Panther model sure is discreet. That is why I bought that model. I hardly notice any light coming from it. Sometimes I wonder if it actually is powered on That is a good thing! I hated my HBH-15 that made me look like someone out of Star Trek.

nice info..yes ive read that DSP and jawbone stuff. but seems to be a very long time til release(?).

anyone have several pictures with blue and black bs? the blue one looks nice but maybe it looks like crap with it on:)
(off searching the forum, post a response if you find it:))

Hi!

I got a Bluespoon "standard edition", and I have found that when I use it together with a P800, the people I talk to say that they barely can hear me, even though I have set the highest volume on the 'spoon and on the P800.

Don't know yet if it is just a setup error from my side, or if there is a problem with the bluespoon

Posted by GREK
anyone else have problems with p800?

Posted by amagab
hobbis> is that in quiet or noisy surroundings? The people I talk to have problems hearing me in very noisy surroundings but when I am in my office, in my car, or at home they say they hear me loud and clear like I am on the land line.

Posted by hobbis
Amagab > Well, at my case I often use it in my office where I am alone, but yet I have that problem. I tried calling a voicemail and voice record a message, and even there the sound sounds very distant

I bought my 'spoon at GEAB The Phonehouse in Sweden. They have it in stock.

According to my contact at Nextlink.to, BlueSpoon Digital will be released sometime in the middle of February. It will boost the DSPFactory's BelaSigna 200 chipset. It will look like the currect Bluespoon special edition. I do not know anything about the price yet. As soon as the first production units are available, I'll be sent one and I'll post a review.

It is expected that the DSP technology will greatly contribute to:
• Superior Sound Quality
- Advanced acoustic design
- DSP equalization of transducers
• Improved Listening comfort
- Superior intelligibility
- Advanced management against loud, undesirable sounds
• Easier Speaking
- Reduced noise
- Reduced echo
- Improved voice command recognition
