I was wondering has anyone here played these games?, cos I was wondering which one to buy and the reviews I've read don't mention if there are any computer controlled characters in the multiplayer modes like in Time Splitters.

I've played a demo of Medal of honor on the PC, it was quite good, dunno about the consoles though.

I've played Medal of Honour Frontline on PS2 - very good.

I'm playing 007 Nightfire on the Gamecube at the moment, it's quite good. There are computer controlled "bots" available for the multiplayer mode in 007 Nightfire.

I've got MoH: Frontline and for the first week or so and the first missions it was most definitly the best thing since sliced bread. I mean, landing on the D-Day beach and fighting your way up? *So* good.

But after that, some of the missions begin to get repetetive and really annoying (the one where you have to follow the guys who sneak out of sight if you don't watch them all the time springs to mind).

Also interesting about MoH is that the main character is called James Patterson which is actually my name, with one less t in Paterson
(Having a computer say my name in mission briefings beefed the time I played on it somewhat).

I have rented Nightfire - its quite good and definitly better than Agent Under Fire, if you've played that.

Its actually got Brosnan in which is nice. I'd recommend renting both and spending your money on Grand Theft Auto: Vice City instead.

Rock on.

yep got MOH:Frontline for PS2, really good but not played it since completed it, Vice City was too good to warrant playing anythin else, then Tony Hawk's 4 and Getaway came out, so no time for poor old MOH now

Was it just me, or was The Getaway a real real letdown?

I have an XBOX, and I am playing 007 Night fire, all I can say is that the game is amazing. Superb graphics, very realistic (I mean Bond style) and the best things are the car and the HOT women. Very detailed, so your need to be careful and open your ear to everything said.
I really like it, it's my second choice after halo, specially the I finished halo within 2 days ago getting the Xbox
The only thing which I didn't like much was that, you'll need to restart most of the mission if your dead

Summery: Get the fame and you wouldn't be disappointed.
any info you want Pm me

I got Nightfire over Christmas, very nice. Great when your playing on the multiplayer modes with your mates, I loved using the helicopter in the multiplayer modes.

medal of honor on PS2 is very very good

I work at EA and worked on both of those games so buy em BOTH and feed me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by jomni1
Why not get both.

I played medal of honor frontline (PS2) and i just keep playing it over and over again. There's no mulitplayer though but the AI in the story mode is quite smart... they don't just stand in one corner... they react differently each time you play... they they throw back the grenades that you throw at them...

I'm a WW2 buff so I'm biased.

Can't afford both, I really want titles that are exclusive to the cube, e.g. Star Fox. Titles like these make the cube feel special.

So it looks like baked beans on toast again for the workers at EA.

If it is any comfort I did buy Nightfire.

LOL yeah get eternal darkness for gc starfox was kinda weak buddy.

MoH is for sure a good game, but as the most of the world knows, FPS should be played on a PC.

so true, all the most enjoyable FPS are on PC's

played 007, its ok but doesnt compare to goldeneye and TWINE on n64 they were classics, and the controllers were perfect for that type of game, ps shouldn't of released it should of left it to xbox with their triggers! but medal of honour is a v.good game so thats your best buy of the two i think!

(every one is entitled to their own opinion, as long as they realise their wrong and i'm right)

Posted by 50Cent
yeah the N64 controller was amazingly good for goldeneye. i could play one handed

Posted by SeanRC
exactly, you could play - smoke a fag and drink your beer all at the same time, how much more relaxed can you be???? and that sniper rifle was the best ive seen on any game so far, you could take out all three blokes on the damn before opening the gate - quality!!

Posted by 50Cent
what that far sight thingy??? i loved the laptop gun, u just hide in a room and set up laptop guns at door....they got no chance!

Posted by SeanRC
good choice of gun! when you are locked in the cell, and you have to use magnet to get keys, did you find the hidden knifes, not many people i no did? and when you have the cheat on and you just walk around with 2rocket launchers with unlimited ammo on- excellent

Posted by 50Cent
yeah i did, but i did find out from a walkthru...so it doesnt really count

Posted by SeanRC
did you play TWINE, if you did..... how cool was that sentinal missle gun, especially in multi playey mode... you could just hide, fire a missile and guide it to some poor unexpecting friend!!!!! now thats cooool!
