unfortunately images are not allowed in signatures

i believe esato smilies are only 'pictures' which are allowed in your signature.
usualy pictures sometimes messup website layout

Yeah, in my opinion it keeps Esato looking tidy without the often messy or garish signatures. Other forums look horrible with the mess of pictures some people use!
