ive just asked orange for my pac-of course they tried to keep me i said it was to do with reception nothing else
so was all ready for it when he says it will be sent i the post within 7 days is this right? i dont want to be fobbed off

coincidentally, I called t-mobile for mine this morning and they gave it to me immediately over the phone

my guess is that t-mobile are now prepared for the new speedier process where ofcom requires that porting is completed within 2 day from 1st April. Maybe Orange aren't that ready yet, or not willing to be for obvious reasons.
btw, the target for september 2009 is that porting should be complete in just 2 hours!

O2 put it in writing but also send you a text message. It usually takes about 3 to 5 days with O2. Not done it with anyone else lately.

When i asked for mine from T-Mobile they gave it me over the phone too, could you not call them back and ask for it over the phone? They should give it to you.

When I called up Vodafone for my PAC they gave it over the phone...
but they didn't do the same for my dad who got his in the post.
Could have something to do with pay monthly & payt customers?
