Can't get M3 to run anymore

Hi all,
anyone else experiencing M3 crashing seemingly unprovoked?

It has served me well until tonight, when I cannot get it to run. It comes up with a "M3 has encountered a problem and has to close" message. This happens some 10 seconds after being initialized, just sitting idly with no file conversion running.

The only change in configuration I can think of is recently adding .NET 3.0. Uninstalled and returned to .NET 2.0. Also uninstalled and reinstalled M3, all to no avail.

M3 is the "final" 0.898 version.

have u installed anything new on your PC recently?

I can't think of anything else than the .NET 3.0 and the latest windows updates from last week.

I've not installed anything in the past few weeks, no trouble with mine.

Have you tried removing & reinstalling?

Yes, as stated above, have removed .NET 3.0 and uninstalled/reinstalled M3.

try using Super to convert your vids?

Am doing so as we speak! It's actually faster than M3. Wish I also could come to terms with the M3 problem, though...
