I may just be missing the button or box to check, but how do you subscribe to a thread that some one else started?
Posted by tranced
you cant do that. only the one who created the thread can be notified of the posts made in it.

that sucks...

you can bookmark the thread though that always helps

I have now added this functionality. One extra option is available on the reply page. It is called "Email notification on reply". You will receive one email if another member post in the topic. Only one email will be sent. After that, will have to subscribe again if you want email notification of the next reply.
Another way to subscribe and unsubscribe to a topic is to click the @-icon next to the topic title. You must be signed in to see these icon. I will add some more functionality later. For example a page where you can view and edit your topic subscriptions.

It's not like you can't see the supermassive red letters and your browser making you aware of this...
and Mass, for those who haven't seen this thread, could you like make it clear what that button does like with a label that appears when you hover over it or something along those lines?

laffen is the only one who can make these changes but I'm sure he'll take note of your request

esato would have a lot more regular (reoccurring) visitors if you added the subscribe feature that automatically renewed the subscription when you visit the thread. I know I would be around more.
