Wel..i was just going through the review of SE C902 and they'd shown the pics of this inbuilt java game called Need For Speed pro Street..
Everyone must be familier with the PC version..
But the pics given in that review seemed very impressive..and moreover..it was an ACCELEROMETER based game!! It can be played wid da keys also..

So..main question..
WIL WE GET IT FOR W910i??

I want it too..

No one interested in this seemingly oh-so-interesting game??

I am. There isn't enough motion-sensor gaming at the moment.

EDIT:

They don't say anything about accelerometer on their site i wonder if this is just a rumour?

Its just a rumour. I got the Pro Street now (search for it with word torrent after it ) and yea, play it for your self. Slow as hell on K850 with sound on. Quite fun with sound off tho.

Wel dude..this is for you..
Scroll down where they've mentioned bout the game..
http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_c902-review-223p3.php

I hope this isn't the same game which you've played..
Even i've played many "most wanteds" and "prostreets" java games previously..
Just to tel u, there are many duplicates..and dude..if sony is giving something inbuilt it's obviously going to be top draw..even vrally had appreciable graphics..and if they are claiming it to be accelerometer based, it's surely gonna be so..
I just hope we get this original EA thingy somewhere..

do u think there will be many aceelometer games ??? just for k850/w910/w960 users???

game developers think wide when creating games... not for some 8k users alone ???

hope someone comes first in this dept..

so far .. one game./.. marble madness..??

does anyone have any idea of anyother game which utilises accelometer??

I think we cant find it yet because the phone aren't released yet..

And I think it's gonna be a built in app..

@naveensiva
K850, w910, iphone, n82, etc have just introduced the accelerometer gaming..it's the next generation gaming platform..why be a pessimist?? All the new phones like w960, w980, w760, c902 and many of nokia's new phones have this technology..and it's gonna continue..
Surely if people like this way of gaming, games will come..
Just dat we'll have to wait till this technology actually grips pace..
The new pro street is just gonna help it and may prove this technology's extent..i just hope it's that much well built..

Nope, its the actual release but not built with accelerometer control.

Oh well. Still fun.

UP? Ok...

Yeah I had NFS Pro Street (not the accelerometer version) on my old phone. I completed it in about an hour. I think they sacrificed gameplay when they made it 3D. There are 9 races in the whole game, and all are way too easy to complete.

Plus there's stupid aspects of the game like the slower you drift, the more drift points you get (cause the counter keeps going longer). So you get no reward for taking a corner, drifting, at high speed. So the trick is to brake before a corner so you're going about 35mph then start drifting, and you get a huge score. Pretty stupid if you ask me.

Another thing I hated was that if you're drifting, and you hit another car, you roll no matter what. Oh, and theres like 8 or 9 other cars all spread out across the track (cause some seem to have a top speed of something stupid like 60mph), and so it's way too easy to overlap.

I wasn't impressed!
