I'm using a 1GB M2 card, and while i haven't had a MicroSD card demonstrated, i'd find it hard to believe the speed difference would be noticeable. In all honesty, given the K850i's slow processor, i don't think the type of memory card really has much bearing on anything.

a member I know has tried using 1GB microSD card in his K850 and he said it's slower than reading the original 512MB M2 card....
so your best bet would be to use only "sony" stuff... a.k.a. the M2 card.... hehe... I haven't tried it myself though...
