MA-8910p data cable firmware upgrade

Sorry if this isn't the right forum.
I have a SE k700i
After repair and software update at sony ericsson factory my cellphone freezes at startup, always. I think i just have to reflash the firmware. I have a MA-8910p k700i data cable. It seems like normally you can't use this for software update but it seems like there are tricks/hacks/drivers that allow this.
Does anyone know about this?
