Sony ericssson w550i headphone connection problem HELP!

raah im going on holiday in 2 days, and only yesterday when i plugged in the sony ericsson headphones into my phone, the icon didn't appear. On closer inspection, i have noticed that 1 of the goldcontacts is wedged right down the hole (of the adaptor) I have tryed prodding it with paper clip, which probably did no good. Does anyone know how i could get this gold thing out? i need help
