After unlocking my O2 K800i using this guide on se-nse,
http://forums.se-nse.net/inde[....]c=20668&hl=unlock%20k800i&st=0
I looked in the service menu and all of the locks were half open which i assume means unlocked. They also all had the number 5 next to them. I think this means it has worked (someone confirm this) Anyway, after inserting my old Virgin SIM card, it said "Insert correct SIM card" and I tried with a Vodafone SIM as well and the same message appeared. In case this affects it, they were both 2G SIM's. I don't understand why it is not working. Is it because the SIM's are 2G or another problem? And can you give me a solution?
(LOL I am steadyontherem8 on SE-NSE in that thread- this is a back up!)

Are the locks like fully gone because the pictures have a half opened lock with the lock already hanging out and the number 5 next to all of them. That sounds stupid xD

my k800i and k810i are both patch unlocked (one locked to 3 uk and the k810 was tmobile locked) and have the icons like you say. they were both successfully unlocked using the k810i patch and setool2lite 1.11
you need to use a generic MAIN f/w for the phone otherwise the patch may not work properly

Don't worry, flashed it again with Bypass DB2020 Security on and it worked- many thanks anyway.
