Just read an news brief on the web that Sendo has filed a lawsuit against Microsoft. Find it very interesting and hope to hear more about it after the holidays.
Sorry, but I wasn't able to link the news brief. I'll get back when I find another source to link to.

It says that Sendo will instead use Nokia software for the Z-100. That would totally ruin it, because a Nokia interface gets really boring. Microsoft would be much better

I think it's strong of them not to fall for MS pressure and their protective licensing. I applaud Sendo for going with a Symbian-based system.

You should definitely try 7650!
Anyway, Sendo licensed some while ago the Nokia series 60 platform designed for one-handed devices. It mandates 2 soft keys, the screen resolution (176x208 if I remember), and the 5-way joystick, as far as I know. It runs Symbian 6.1.
Now, for what comes to the UI it's up to the licensee to design its own.
Back to the lawsuit: Sendo accuse Microsoft of stealing some of Sendo's own intellectual property that Sendo use in its mobile devices. In fact Sendo claim that some of their ideas are being illegally used by Microsoft in some other mobile devices being developped by other manufacturers
Happy New Year Everyone!
