@pk i see, thought u heard already sg

@tonchy how u mean inside and outside colours?

look at this can it be possible that this is 9 apps running and one of them the major one is Windows mobile (others like play now, media manager, etc.. are from the os) so it would be like a mobile virtual machine hence the wm support for 65k color at most does not have to truncate the possibilities of the device using 262k colors on other applications outside windows mobile such as the media player.
from this picture my idea seems reasonable with windows mobile on the top left corner, playnow under it, and media player on the bottom right corner.

can someone confirm what all these panels are really about? if managed to really do that (mobile virtual machine) then it will be a big step in mobile technology development. don't you think?

great device... only that it should have a proper GPS module...

Isn't aGPS a proper GPS chip only with assistance hence the "a"? thus reducing battery power required? and doesn't the chip still locate you even without a mobile data connection?

Posted by SloopJohnB
After such a long time away from because of its boring mid-end phones now this... I have to say congrats ! Xperia looks really awesome!! I donīt wanna be a pessimist but if the hardware isnīt good or the battery decent, x1 might end up being good only on picts ;/

edit:

I'm finding myself more attracted to the silver version, even though I like black phones more, usually.

The silver trim reminds of me the P1i, I think, which I've always wanted but could never get (due to incompatibilities with frequency).

I agree with you about the silver version... Looking quite exclusive and expensive with the brushed metal frame...

would it be as thick as my nokia n95??? don't like it too thick really!

Nope!

N95 is 21mm...X1 is 17mm.

Posted by >500
one would assume the processor is a 500+mhz one!

Many of the current WM phones have fast processors!

Posted by BobaFett
thats right. trinity has got 400 mhz

that's very impressive! time to start saving $ now!

Posted by razec
given it's 3D UI seems like it would have 620Mhz CPU like in iPhone

Posted by >500
theres some word going round its the new omap3xxx 600+mhz one or what ever it is................. for both the x1 and p5.

Not sure how true this is, we will find out soon enough through some one on here!

Posted by alrodlop35
Woot woot!! SE's finally getting it's act together

Is this the first phone ever to support the 1700 HSPDA band?

Posted by my ninja
ne is a bit of a disappointment ... ;( but, ill wait on the P5 to see what SE has in store. that and the phone is nice hideous, someone was huffing glue watching that nokia prism and decided to shit on the keypad. screens nice if WM6 didnt cut it down.

bring on somthing original.

has some nice radios in it though. still missing GPS.

hopefully the P series is the catalog topper though! all in one

ALL in ONE
