Okay so were now into the second month and this time its a little different just to encourage people to actually use their imagination and really test their phones and think outside the box.
First the rules........these must be adhered by or you will be disqualified for the month. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THEM
1: Pictures entered must be taken by the person entering.
2. The following information must be included in the same post as the entry. phone used, why you feel the word or phrase influenced your picture.
3. The picture must cannot exceed 800 pixels in either width or height.
4. Details of any post processing must be included. ie photoshop, noise reducing software, photofix etc. (This is to benefit the people who do not have photofix etc on their phones)
5. Only ONE entry per member
6. This is the main one, no archive pics to be used, YOU MUST TAKE THE PICTURE FOR THE COMPETITON. If the photo is took before February 1st 2008 it will not allowed.
7. No 'adult' themed pictures allowed
8. If you enter, you must vote. Not voting will result in your entry being withdrawn. You are not allowed to vote for your own entry. You will be required to vote on the last week of the month. This way there will be no bias decisions. It will be everyones joint decision.
and thats it, so work with me on this one and itll be good times. this is a test of your creativity and imagination so get them camera phones out!
The theme phrase for this month is.............
'PRICELESS'
you can interpret that anyway you want but you have to explain how you got the idea for the theme......so go take a picture that encompasses the word PRICELESS to you and post it here!

@don - In this case. how WOULD you KNOW if it was REALLY taken AFTER February 1st, 2008
Date-stamp-option is one way I know, but how if it's : pre-CALIBRATED

I think so mate.
Priceless means that you can't put a price on it.
So if something is priceless, for example a priceless moment, then it would be so great or funny that you can't describe it. Like you can't put a value on it (have you seen the mastercard advertisements? They are a perfect example).
Or you could take priceless another, simpler way: Something in a store with no price on it. It could be something thats free!
Its up to you how you take the word. You could take a photo of something stolen, as thats priceless because it wasn't paid for!

By all means! The competition aims to test YOUR imagination and creativity and not just the quality of your camera phone. Last months winner used a non-A/F 2.0Mp camphone - you don't have to have a G800/K850i/N95-8GB to compete...

It was a complicated case done earlier. the surgeon really intended to document the anatomy of the patient's heart. all precautionary measures were done to preserve sterility. otherwise, we would be jeopardizing the patient we are giving a brighter future ahead.

All pics uploaded to esato's picture server has no EXIF data. Saying that you can't trust it's taken with a mobile phone is simply stupid imo. Shows an extreme lack of trust, and even if it had EXIF data, that stuff is extremely easy to modify.

i understand what your saying, but ppl do cheat, he still didnt state what phone he used to take that picture. I just cant picture a heart transplant and then a guy pulls out a camera phone and takes a pic.

Good morning guys! (its morning here in my country)
Am sorry in a rush to post that pic, i forgot to state the camphone i used.
The photo i posted was taken by my trusted sakura (w900).
The photo was taken with permission. the case was a complicated one and so documentation was really done for purposes of further study or discusion. No identity was revealed in the photo. I just want to share the wonderful life saving operations we do.
Another lease in life is indeed... priceless.

Since I read this topic, I've got this enthusiasm to hunt the best pic. After some thoughts, I came to conclusion that what best for me is to watch by myself a beautiful sunset above my cityscape. So for days, I've been waiting at my favorite place for the sunset to appear. Finally, it appeared!
Actually, I got the other pic, taken 30 minutes before the sun was down (before the sunset). The sky was amazing back then. Clouds were everywhere. So beautiful. But I don't want to submit that pic anyway.
Cause for me, nothing is more priceless than waiting till the sunset is really there. You don't know for how long you'd wait. And maybe after some times you waited, the sunset wouldn't as beautiful as you had expected. But I took the chance. For me, it's worth waiting.
And there.. right before your eyes. Coloring the wide sky, overlaying the beloved city, that was the priceless sunet. So instead of that beautiful clouds-sky pic, this is my pic.
Resized and auto-leveled with Photoshop CS2.
Taken with K770 Cybershot phone.
