i try to cooperate with every1 i never started any arguments, but raiderski seems to want to argue with me all the time i used to just ingore him and not argue but you can only do that for so long.

Steam is not running at 100% in linux systems, it has to be emulated on wine and loses some of its features. There's a online petition to make Steam client for linux and mac systems, here it is

I played some CS back in the days, 5-6 years ago but i actually think COD4 is more fun.

I wanted to ask how its going with this Super Camdriver that is said to have all these new menus and things?
Is it going forward or has it come to an halt?

(is it more difficult to make cam drivers to k850 (A200) then k800, k750 ?? )

is k850 ^CPU strong enough to use third part softwares.

CS is not the same as CSS. Source engine is not the same as COD4 engine...

Raiderski is fighting with several seq_ss issues... It's not easy and we have another things to do... He's doing some steps forward. Don't be impatient.

the biggest improvements too the k800i cam quality can be made in the main firmware like removing the awful postprocessing or replacing it with the k770's postprocessing, also replacing the whitebalance with the whitebalance from k770. i noticed a few software programmes in this thread would it be difficult to edit the stuff in the k800i's main & make a patch????.

it's not firmware. main is only top driver for camera. heart of every image processing is camera DSP

ISO is hardware related issue, file size probably too. if you look at block diagram of MCB770 then you will see 2 very important things:

1. EEPROM memory is included
2. jpeg stream is created in DSP

looks like jpeg max possible file size is determined by internal MCB memory size. if size is ~1MB and i'm pretty sure it is then my conclusion is simple: you must like ~900kb shots. in my opinion that's enough

it seems unlike other cam modules, the sony 1's control alot theres shading correction, whitebalance and everything, theres also luminance & chrominace generation & jpeg stream so maybe the module does limit the file size and even if it could be increased by the firmware the camera would still crash, the reason i asked this is that the w890 a walkman phone can produce iso 64 & filesizes over 1mb http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=166205 i would buy the phone but it has no autofocus.
whats werid is that the 1111kb picture still has 81% luminance & chrominace.

yep, but W890 has Foxconn camera system, that's why they are so much different. i'm looking at shots from W890 at gsmarena.com and i must say that they sucks - daylight shot: ISO40 and noise level is insane (now i know why files are so big with 81% quality)

all the new se camera phones suck the c902 pics look like vga, the c702 is ok but has a smaller focal length than the k800i, the k850i pic show what happens when you over-load small sensors with too many mega-pixels, the grainyness and it can't handle colours.

I think the point was NEW and CAMERA. I don't know any of these chips/phones, but I'm quite satisfied with my K800 and my kids with K750 and K550

forget about things like this...
K770 and K750 are completely different camera systems - different sensor, different DSP and whole image processing. i don't know what you guys want from K800/K750 white balance. i like it, maybe it's not the best but where is? even normal digital cameras have problems

I know and i know it aint the same engine but a more fun game.

I want long shuttle time and viewfinder 10-15 fps. What the best value for shuttle and viewfinder on K550 in night mode?

changes are made in draft mode 33 (normal viewfinder work) but they won't be visible immediately on viewfinder. to take effect viewfinder must go back to draft mode 34. mode 33 is good if you must do many changes in very short time period (for example scene change) - theoretically it should prevent viewfinder lags during changes

another question, when camera will take picture it'll read the camdriver for instructions, but after taking and saving pic will it read camdriver from beginning?(i mean, will it read seq_init again?)

3. as for me seq_set_prop_6 is entirely dead in normal camera work. it is refreshed after snapshot (i don't remember). it is used in VideoTelephony after switch from front to back camera

i changed the phone name in my exif data, it's not done in the driver it requires a customize_upgrade.xml script, it changes the name of your phone.

remember to change it for the k800i the k800i doesn't know what a WR_REG is, & 21 isn't sharping in the k800i it's 56 it makes no difference anyway i already tried it ages ago like this for k800i.

That can't be used because it's for control with the stick unexisting contrast/sharpening settings on the firmware (camera menu)

iso + shutter #COM_EVENT(04,00) for shutter #COM_EVENT(05,00) for iso just put em together should work.
colour correction is the saturation and correction of green/yellow/red colours etc, like this
#COM_EVENT(58,10) saturation
#COM_EVENT(55,00) contrast
#SET_REG(20,FD) green/yellow colour correction (i think)
#SET_REG(21,F6) dunno what this one is

i think fixing the shutter speed using #COM_EVENT(04,00) also fixes the iso at 100 to get the exact shutter speed and it can't be overwritten.
