No Col, Cayman is hardtop Boxter, not a 911-derivative...which means the engine is ahead of the rear axle - proper mid-engined......
IF Porsche actually put the 911T engine in a Cayman...it'd destroy the 911! But Porsche won't give up on their ~40 yr old 'imperfection'......

@ Reo, I saw loads and loads of 300C when I was in NYC and they don't look out of place there, as someone has said they do here, also here, they are classed as a poor mans bentley, have a look at a bentley continental or flying spur, then have a look at the 300C and note the similarities... it's uncanny, and it's not a shared design either.......
