Posted by carkitter
They don't make 'em like they used to...

1955 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing, the world's first supercar.

1969 Lamborghini Muira, one of the prettiest cars ever. 3.9L V12, 170mph.

Posted by *Jojo*
@car - I like that OLD Benz matey . . . down memory lane ehhh

Posted by Muhammad-Oli
Maserati Quattroporte

I believe it has been voted the world's most beautiful car a few times.

Posted by kenoby
Indeed a beautiful car..

Posted by Muhammad-Oli
Ragarding the first post, I don't think the Murcielago is a pretty car. Don't get me wrong, I love the car's styling and for some time it was my favourite car. But with all the sharp egdes and angles, I can't see how it is pretty. Much like the Reventon. I love that car but it is, without a doubt, not beautiful.

Posted by kenoby
^^^ Edgy?

This is edgy:

And one of my favorites..

Posted by kenoby
@ carkitter, you must like miura concept then Would be nice to see this on the road:

Beautiful car...

Posted by Danny_BFC
Countach FTW. Out of the ones you haven't picked yet,

Posted by kenoby
Indeed.. It was my favorite in the days. Even Modena after didn't sit well. Good pick.

Posted by carkitter
@kenoby
Absolutely I like the Muira Concept, but out of the two I'd have to go for the original ATM because the Concept is just a prototype. I do hope they build it though, the Ford GT needs some competition. It's interesting that the Muira's only flaw has been addressed - lack of front end downforce!

The F355 is classicly beautiful too...

Most of the cars posted are masculine not pretty.

Yeah, masculine is a better word to describe them

Here's the Reventon I was talking about. Definitely edgy.

And heres more of the Miura concept:

I am also a fan of this car for its looks, the original style Maserati Ghibli. I would love to see a modern re-make of this beauty:

So good to know there are few enthusiasts here... Good point about masculinity carkitter.

That Reventon is brilliant, all space thrusters and machine guns. Just the way a Lambo should be. Looks like it was designed by Gillette, right enough!

Personally I think this is the best looking car ever:

mclaren f1

Definitely mate. I've been a bit of a car freak all my life and have been drawing them since I was about 3 years old. I have piles of old car magazines in my room, posters, and a drawer full of drawings lol. I could name most cars I see driving around too. Hehe

Eleanor was actually a Shelby mustang Gt500 and was an amazing looking car. never liked the normal mustang but that looks great.

I also love this:

Its a Saleen S281

It may not be as flash as some of the supercars posted here but i love the Audi TT, seen quite a few in work and they are fit, i'm fond of the Bughati Veron though what a beauty.

Posted by fatreg
old or new TT Miss C?

Posted by haynesycop
Wouldn't be bothered there both fit! Saw a yellow soft top convertible one the other day, was beautiful!

Posted by fatreg
a lello TT? hmmm.. sounds delightful!

Posted by haynesycop
It was honest i quite like my cars now all thanks to TG! I like the Alfa Romeo posted before not found of the R8 that >500 posted those stupid cat eye looking lights look awful.

Posted by arien617
Audi daytime running lights, Laura. I'm a car gimp so I know that.

Daytona Yellow RS4.. yum.

Posted by haynesycop
Or as Jeremy would say airport landing lights lol they just spoil it! That is nice, don't usually like bright yellow cars, i like those retro cars that are around, the nissan figaro i think it is called and the new panda, can't remember by who. Nice little run arounds.

Posted by arien617
Fiat 500! King of little runarounds. Bar mebbe the Mini.

Mate's cousin just ordered one in white with white leather and the big alloys. It's gonna be minty!

Posted by haynesycop
That is the one loved that car, would be perfect for me, stylish, small cheap insurance and tax. Never really liked the mini for some reason.

and any M5 really.

Posted by carkitter
Mmmm.... Beautifully simple shape that 997. No gawdy wings, NACA ducts, etc, just pure curvaceous style.

Two more of my personal favourites:

Ferrari 250 GT Short Wheelbase

The 'Yellow Car'.
This is the Countach prototype that stole the show at Geneva 1971.

well the limited edition Ford gt 600 was nice untill this twat got hold of it :(:(:(

Posted by aldrinus
for me, nothing beats the sexy curves of any Porsche starting with the 911 down to its latest reincarnation..

i simply love the way this particular Porsche series was designed and continues to evolve: aesthetics that go harmoniously with aerodynamic principles, and not to mention the horsepower that it packs in such a small package

just my 2-cents... cheers!
