Posted by sonydavid
im not sure but i think yes. if you search the web you will find out
Posted by number1
use jdflasher to access a cid:53's filesystem
Posted by nebraska
thanks for jdflasher, I've seen that on other forums too..
I hope it is as simple to use as xs++, I just want to upload the new camdriver
Posted by nebraska
huuuuu... more difficult than expected..
I've downloaded FARmanager + the plugin JDflasher(for CID53)
what do I do now??
(with xs++ I just had to start my phone pressing C, it was simple...)
thanx for help

Try to click the little 'n' letter above the file list and then try to find the jdflasher plugin. Cannot give you a screen, cause I'm on Debian right now.
Posted by number1
press F11 then select jdflasher
Posted by nebraska
thanks for the help,
but still not much better
here is what I get when pressing 'n' (as Alt F1)
Posted by milan91
And i am on ubuntu
Press alt+f1 then select jdflasher, put your phone on usb with C, select db2020 and 921600 speed... then jump down
Then select BFS

I think you should double click on ofs then go to the directory where are drivers.
Edit:
Sry, my bad, didn't read the text, only saw the pics.
Edit2:
Dunno if it's ok with the rules, but check here:

Some people have the same problem as you. Maybe you'll find an answer.

Hum... Dunno what's going on. No matter which driver, when taking some pictures (close macro + LED), camera crashes. ;/ Maybe the file size is too big? Max what I've got so far was ~910kB.

@Mihau
Thanks for the suggestion, I read the topic but it is not exacteley the same pbl, and I did not find the solution yet..
I try to put slower speeds but still the same error.
I found that sentence in the thread you gave me, maybe it is the problem with my phone:
" o in folder names oflash/ofs means original, so no patches, no fs/flash read
b means breakin == full access "
I have ofs and not bfs......

Have you tried all of den-po's releases?

well I've tried the one for CID53, the others are for CID52....

well now it works!!
to help the others who could have the same problem, you just have to download the plugin called "jdflash_53wrecovery", you can find it here:
http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?act=att...st&id=17995
well now I entered ifs/setiings/camera and I am here:
I read it was not possible for the moment to modify files, just possible to read them...
is it true?
is there a way to replace camdriver0.dat??
thanks!
Posted by nebraska
aaaah yes it works!!
it was very simple, just have to move file from right window to left window
I love FAR
(it doesn't work all the time and I had to do it many times because when copying the file and when you quit FAR the old file is still in the phone.. don't know why)
but now I have Number1 camdriver and new firmware, everything's okay guys, thank you all bros!!
Posted by MiHaU
Maybe try to remove original file, then copy the new one.

For daylight this camera and driver (5.0) are just great! Almost like camera.

Guys, is it really worth replacing my current 4.75 with 5.0? Which are the improvements?

Sample photo with 5.0 (ISO 100).
I think software limits sucks. ;/ When trying to take photo with Portrait or Auto settings, camre crashes when there are too many details. Does nyone know how to fix it?

I think I've found the most stable driver so far. It's the latest(?) Number1's beta with manual iso from jigonx.

Some photos taken with Number1's 4.75 beta. I'll try to update it.

I like number1's 4.75 driver, no crash yet...
I am only disappointed by the sound of videos taken (but it is not number1's fault
Does someone think that replacing accoustic driver (I've seen that on another forums) would improver video sound?
Posted by sonydavid
i think that if someone make a patch to record mp4 it will take better videos and better sound

Nope. Video sound quality doesn't depend on the acoustic driver. Same as mp4 format.
