Am I the only one with the beta driver that is not able to use face application (the one to make skewed faces, can't remember the name)
I do not get any output from the camera and when I try to take a picture the applicatin tells me there is not enough memory.

your newest beta driver still crashes when there is many details in photo, but not as often as with your older camdrivers.

yup..same here. but didnt crash as often as 4.7 driver. like out of 10 time, 1 or 2 time crash. 4.7 crash quite alot.
btw anyone try the newest driver on video? better than 4.7?

did u adjust the setting quality to fine? mayb u wan to double check tat yrs is it using the latest newest beta driver.

I went back to camdriver 4.75 version1 coz I prefer it to the others, good average pics and smooth videos. And not too many crashes

Now VIDEO is very good for such a phone, in my opinion the only bad point is the sound of videos, very poor... too acute and whistling.
Is it possible to mod the sound driver or video driver to have a better sound number1 plz?

Could anyone plz reupload camdrv4.75 to another site or maybe here? I cannot take it from n1's url...
Btw, in new R8BC004 a file cam_upgrade.dat (or so) has been added to camdrv folder in FS apart from camdrv0.dat and camdrv1.dat. What is it for, who knows? And how will it affect if I, to say, decide to use 4.75 v.1 on the new FW?

I'm new here and getting to know my T650.
I can tell that my camera crashed once after trying the "LCD picture test" with the original driver.
I have the FW R7AA024 and I never changed anything from the software of my phone.
The 1st try failed from 10 cm distance. (Macro: ON, Quality: FINE).

I noticed something strange.
Sometimes (2 times in 2 days) when I switch to camera mode it bugs, screen stays black durings 5 minutes and camera menus are very slow in navigation.
The rest of the phone menus (contacts, games, music...) is ok, only cam is out.
And after a few minutes camera works normally
Don't know if someone noticed that. I have camdriver 4.75 vers1

the solution is, if u turning off the phone, after turning on again, reinsert the memory card.
btw, i made modification of original camdriver v4.5. all other setting is default, only increasing video recording to 24 fps.

here is the part for 24 fps video recording.
just open camdriver with notepad and copy-paste to the same place in camdriver (it's near the bottom part of camdriver)

i tried with 30 fps but the phone can't accept that. maximum fps still 27 fps. but with 27 fps u will get artefak in video result. so i think 24 fps is the best for video recording. i'm afraid with 27-30 fps u will damaging the camera.

i'm still about i'll try and fix the compression as this is the only bug, this driver is difficult to improve it's not like all other drivers i'm used to the drivers for sony cam modules, the t650 & k770 uses a samsung cam module.

number1, jus to tell u i tested 01 camdriver. it crash when i wan to take a near pic on my lcd screen wit scenes: document, focus: macro. but no problem when its auto for all wit focus: macro.
anyway observed tat when i take plants or bushes, the size around 890kb to 900kb plus..

So this version 4.75 camdriver02 is stable?I tested and is good,but frustrant on my old w800i I have 4xzoom on 2mp and on new t650 just on vga mode in 2008?
Also the sound on video rec is so bad,and pictures don't have stabilizer,my old w800 take pictures more better with no blurr!

please can you correct a compression level to avoid crash and not saving a picture? It is quite annoying.
I think that there is no problem with any compression artifacts so it is not neccessary to change it's settings, what do you mean?
Camdriver 01 and also 02 crashes always when taking a photos of trees and other "detailed structures" that are hard to compress.
