I'm having problems watching video on YouTube, if i select a video link it opens media viewer, it then says buffering, and when it gets to 100%, it does nothing. I press play button, but it wont play...?? my connection is via WAN so will be fast enough. I've still got O2 CDA in phone, could it be that O2 stops playback of youtube on the W960 because of the iPhone??

I'm on Vodafone and I've had the same problem watching clips from the youtube mobile site. Also using WLAN to connect.

sounds very suspect to me... is there anyone who's de-branded there w960 no longer having this problem?

With Vodafone UK and downloads working and playing OK. Though the connection seems more stable on 3G than WLAN.

apparently you're router needs to be RSTP enabled to stream content from these mobile sites, i've no idea what that means, how to do it, or if mine is but there you go.

I have the same trouble, I cannot stream them

Im having the same problem with my P1 guys. Im using wlan too. I don't think that vodafone is blocking anything.
you should try tinytube. you can download and play video. But don't get too excited cause there aren't many videos like the real youtube. .

I give mtube up.. It really doesnt work for me.

Nothing wrong with the device ,I have p1i and get same problem but problem occurs only while using WLAN , to enable it to work with WLAN, u need to set your router, for me im using a LINKSYS wireless-B and all I do is go to "APPLICATIONS & GAMING" set "PORT RANGE FORWARDING" 0 to 60000 to my phone ip setting. And lastly set "DMZ" enable with phone ip setting. Good luck

Not really. But I had a bunch of trouble with it before, and now I don't *shrug*. So I assume it's some sort of combination between m.tube settings, router- settings, and the phone's wifi- configuration, and the media- player. Could well be that it solves itself after they've been working a little more on the firmware over at SE... (*cough*)

But you probably need to set something like this in the firewall (or in the "application sharing"):
1. Any protocol: 554 - 554 (for streaming protocol management)
UDP: 6970 - 9999 (these can be random, but them over 5000, or the usual service ports)
TCP: 7070 - 7071 (those as well)

Other than that, the firewall should be set to allow all outgoing connections.
