One year and One day on from purchasing my w810i it finally decided to conk out on me. Basically, I switched my phone off as normal and the next time I turned it on all I got (and still getting) is a screen that flashes white every 2 seconds.
If anybody could help me out here all I'm after is anybody who might know what exactly the problem is and why it is doing this.

I've never knowingly updated firmware on my phone. Also - it hasn't been hacked or modded

Your phone's software is dead. Just flash your phone with the latest firmware and customization pack.
