Hi,all,if you switch pages when you present a PPT in your office without any contacting to your pc( you can put your mobile phone in your pocket and operate it stealthily if you have BT adaptor). what a rummy and magic things! your boss must consider you as a ingenious guy! ^_^ now let's tell you how to do that(I suppose your system is 2000, because I do the test work on this system only):
you must have the folowing devices:
1.a pc with a usb IR adaptor or a notebook with a IR port (a BT adaptor is the best,but I suppose you have IR only).
2.a t68m,t68i,or r520 phone (SonyEricsson brand) .
3.or a data line used to link your pc and mobile phone.
At the same time I suppose you have installed the mobile monitor software in your computer already:
1.To go to this place ,download the driver named IRcomm2k than install to your pc if your system is 2000 or xp: http://www.ircomm2k.de/
2.To go to this place and download a software package named PcControl.zip and Install it to ur pc:http://www.christersson.org/ ,
Now let's adjust your IR port's character now:
1.open control panel
2.open wireless in control panel.
3.select image transform page, set the option "To transform picture from camera to pc from wireless" NOT CHECKED .this setp is very important!!!
4. Select page "hardware", then set the speed limit to 115200.
After above step ,we are ready now!turn on IR of your phone, start PcControl program, select port 5, then click "connet" if everything is ok.the button name will become "conneted" in seconds.now enter your phone's menu ,a new sub menu named "accessories" in "connect" item comes . enter "accessories" ,we will see only one item named "Pc Control",enter it now ,another four items will display,select "Move Mouse" at the first place,the screen of your phone will display a windows with message "windows",you can control your pc's application now !!!try open a ppt file ,press F5 on pc to start play, then presss the volume button on the left of phone ,you will find the page switched !!!
PS: Accoding to the author's comment,the key map is some different from english from sweden, so some pre-defined key maybe no-functionnal . if you have BT,may be all function is ok,because the author of software DO NOT recommend user to use IR port .thanks god,wen can use volumen key still !!!

It works a lot better if you're using bluetooth and you can change your music from another room in the house with the phone in your pocket.

Float's Mobile Agent (FMA) is maybe the best program for this, do a search on Esato and see the discussions about it.

Mr.Oblomov, I tryed that software u recommended , but I found it is not a software designed to control pc by dint of my phone, it seems that it's a sms managing center , I cann't control a application running in pc by use of my phone , am I right ?

You can use the FMA to control programs on your Windows PC. This feature was added on June 18th. For this to work, you will have to download one of the scripts found on the FMA site. Scroll down to the script section and read more about this there. You may even get Mr. Merlin (MS-Agent character) to read up incoming SMS messages. It's a cool thing.

With this you can control some aspects of your computer. The options are coded in a script-file in FMA's directory called fma.vbscript You can change this file if you want and you know how, and then you can control other devices, I have included PowerDVD for example...

aha...Thank you all ,I was successful ! Says really ,it is a excellent tool I ever used. it is some easy to use compare to PcControl for freshman. I will learn how to write script file now .........

Hi i have a usb ir device but it won't connect to any of the christersson's soft!How's that possible?Also Can you explain more specifically your 3rd step?And at last what;s the use of this programm?Can you see your desktop in your mobile phone and manage it?I can't quite get it!

Third step?
By using the FMA software, you can transfer the phone key-presses and joystick moves into PC-keypresses. The same applies for Christersson.org's PC-control. Maybe some screenshots will explain what you get:

Hey i`m getting "Operation can`t be completed because the script engine has not be enitialized to a valid language" on screen after trying to set up Floats pc control, (FMA works fine,BT setup for data sending both ways all works fine) not sure what i`m doing wrong here, had the top left volume % box for a while but thats gone now aswell ??????? any ideas.

Well First of all i have the Ma620 infrared device,is it capable to connect to any of the cristerson software?What is tha BT connector you're all talking about?
Also i have some problem with that FMA software.
As soon as i run the mobile agent zip it says:Mobileagent caused an error in unknown"And after that :Exception EOlectrlError in Module Mobileagent.EXE at 000F95E1.Microsoft ActiveX Script Control not installed.What's wrong with that as well?

I think FMA is really a great tool,it very convenience to control PC .but I have a serious problem: All of messages I sent to others was unreadable code ,I sent a SMS to myself by use of FMA,the message was unreadble too. can NOT I send chinese SMS by FMA really?

tried the remote thingy too on my msi bluetooth add on card. worked flawlessly. i used both float's mobile agent and christersson's pc control at the same time. just use two different ports and whoala!

FMA support chinese in a "modern way", your system need to support Unicode CJK chinese, i.e. Win2000 and above with built in input method, not BIG5 or GB.
