This is not a spam or illegal - modds do not block/delete
bbc have launched a new web player that allows you to watch any bbc show 7 days after broadcasted.

What'll you need to run Download Manager
Pentium 4 computer or above
1.5 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor
512MB RAM or more memory
20GB available disk space
Broadband internet connection: 512kbps or higher
I think you will find that TV torrents aren't illegal either........

Certainly better than channel 4's offering, '4od', which forces you to sign up, download an app and then demand that you use Windows Media Player 10

I recently installed both. I have to say the BBC iPlayer is much better and quicker to download. I just wish you didn't have such a short time to watch the programmes in.
I wonder if there is anyway to extract the file, once its downloaded and then watch it when you want, however you want.

I signed up for this a while back but they were not supporting vista, only XP.
is it working for vista now?
Posted by Luke-the-magic-man
No idea how it can be used abroad, or if it works on vista tbh, only have macs here so hard for me to test

It's working on my Vista machine, though I'm using Firefox so I can't download the videos.
Anyone know how to get rid of the signing..? it's a bit of a nuisance if you got working ears.

Just got the proper download manager thingy... It's pretty good but peer-to-peer is crap!
I can get about 500KBps download speed.. That's kilobytes, not bits.
P2P's getting about 50KBps.
