loading phonebook through USB

Hello
Basically I got a Sony Ericsson k850i for Christmas and thought maybe i could load all my contacts from my old phone (Sony Ericsson k310i - no blue tooth) onto my computer and then load the contacts from my computer onto my new phone.
Problem is I have no idea know how to find the data or how to sync it!
Any advice much appreciated!
