Well i'd like to use the preset version because it has different settings for each scene. But for customizable version i would suggest these values:
BRIGHTNESS = 00;
CONTRAST = 08;
SHARPNESS = 05;
SATURATION = 04;

Posted by theshadow03
what do u men by "preset version" ??...don`t understand...sorry and thx for the manual settings...i apriciate youre work

I mean the non-customizable v1.40 final which has preset values for sharpness, contrast etc.

Posted by theshadow03

Sorry, didnt understand that ?

Posted by killerPK
You need the sharpness + saturation version? Well the Fully customizable version is the same, just with added feature to set brightness and contrast so just download that one

twilight portrait EV +1.7
auto mode, flash set for red eyes

@theshadow03
Hmm, I havent come across such a problem. Are you using the force flash version or normal?

Posted by theshadow03
force flash

Posted by toyds
other review/sample pictures for mod mix 1.4?

thanks

Posted by killerPK
@theshadow03
I have tried pics of people a few times but none of them have the red eye problem that you mentioned. Try in different lighting conditions or check if the same thing happens in the non-force flash version.

Among so match drivers,tested by me,I think the non-customizable v1.4_final is most balanced driver at the moment!
I mean it`s with real colour reprotuction in various scenes,less noise,no reddish colour with and without flash,good contrast and sharpness,good compression also!
I`ll stay with it because I can`t find any errors or bugs!
Good job!
Congratulations!

killerPK can`t you mix youre driver with the ultimate to get a perfect camdriver??

I really doubt that so much mixing could bring the "all 4 one"-driver.
It gets harder to "read" the driver, to see what each property change or sequence change really does.
And you're in danger getting duplicate settings because settings for color, sharpness, wb, contrast... are done on different positions in the drivers structure so you loose the overview.

What exactly is good in ultimate driver thats not currently in ModMix? If its just saturation or sharpness, you can change those things in the customizable version. I dont think theres anything else in the ultimate version since its based on a very old driver.

Ultimate vivid (sharpness 08) vs. ModMix 1.4 (sharpness 06):

! Ultimate Vivid: aut mode !

! ModMix 1.4: auto mode !

useless comparison. pics are not the same

hmmm.....i found out the modmix 1.4 final have more noise compare to genus 6.0. If the noise is able to reduce then it will be nice

More noise in which mode exactly? Can you post a picture for comparison?

Posted by xwteoh
Sorry again, my bad.. From the picture below i can say that both driver have almost same level of noise.

All picture is taken using Portrait without flash.
1st picture using Modmix 1.4 Final
2nd Picture using Genus 6.0(sharpness 04)

This is the picture make be think this driver produce a lots of noise. Maybe using wrong mode, i think should use twilight portrait. Still learning in taking good picture.

Modmix 1.4 Final
Portrait Without Flash

All the above picture is taken in low light condition.
Thx KillerPK to create such a nice MIX driver from modder.

try my latest driver in that noise test every1 says it has alot of noise but it doesn't also there isn't a way to remove the noise but i did use a little trick to reduce the noise on auto,portrait, twilight portrait and twilight landscape mode.

Posted by killerPK
You mean 2.93? If yes, then my driver is based on 2.9 series so that trick would be in modmix also.

@number1

nope you missed it,

Posted by fraseyboy
Nice driver! Wish I had downloaded this before I went on holiday Now all my pics don't look as good as they could have...

Oh well.

Is it possible that for the next release you could release a 35fps or 30fps vid mode version as well? I personally don't care about the zoom bug that it creates and I'm sure others have the same feeling as me. 18fps doesn't look very good in comparison.

Looking forward to the next version!

Posted by xwteoh
As promised, I had test some picture with number1 2.93 below is the sample for modmix 1.4 final, genus6.0, and number1 2.93.

All picture is taken using Portrait without flash and environment is low light condition.
1st picture using Modmix 1.4 Final
2nd Picture using Genus 6.0(sharpness 04)
3rd Picture using Number1 2.93

Hmm.....as number1 said, his driver really produce less noise.
What tricks number1 applied? Who knows...hahaha...anyway all this are great driver.!! Thx to all modder.

@xwteoh

I suggest that if your going to take pics in lowlight without flash, you should do it in Twilight Landscape mode, since its purpose is to reduce noise. If you used twilight portrait mode in the above pictures, the noise reduction in number1's driver is because the sensor scene is set to twilight landscape in that mode.

looking at the picture full size it's clearly over sharpned and grainy,

@killerPK, nope thats not it anyway it was portrait mode that was used, keep guessing.

Posted by xwteoh
yup....I'm using portrait to take those picture, it's not twilight potrait.

i tried ModMix 1.4 final and its great. But i have problem with focus object in short-range(about 5-10 cm). i try to focus a flower in my garden and its did not focus on anything, i try to focus for 5 mins and it still useless to do that. Can you try to fix this for me plz? (i use auto mode with macro, cloudy WB,spot metering)

When i use Genus camdriver this problem never happen to me!

Well only thing i can say is that focus property is same in all camdrivers, so you should try to focus something that the fone can easily focus on then take picture of the thing u want without releasing the camera button.

Posted by onestop
Before i use your camdriver i use Genus 5.9 and when i switch in to your camdriver its have a littile problem on focus in macro mode that i already tell you.

I think your camdriver is the No.2 for me, and No.1 for me is Genus. Because it has better colour when i take picture in all auto mode(i don't like to change anything so much coz i just quickly take picture).

then just request for better enhancements... not demand something...
modders are not perfect, and we're here to help each other .. that's why they need comments to the one who uses it...so tell killerpk an advice so that he can improve it and so that he can make something that your looking for.... there's always a solution for everything guys....

@Number1
Ok I found it, you reduced the 8 FPS to 6 FPS in auto mode for the noise reduction.
Btw why not just change the FPS in the scene property, its confusing that in scenes its 8 FPS but in vf property its 6 FPS. Cant you just change it in scenes without putting all the shutter commands in vf?

Well thats my best guess, and it should work since the lower the FPS the more the exposure time which means less noise.

I have the same problem. I can't focus on anything in macro mode so I changed to other driver.
