@killerPK
I found a bug - if You are trying to focus on bright or lustrous object (small bulb on the christmas tree, lustrous decoration), macro can't focus.
Could You fix it?
Saturation by macro + flash light is high. Colors are good.
I think a little higher sharpness at normal mode will be better.
Thanks.

The focusing part is the same in all camdrivers, so I suggest if the camera doesnt focus on a particular object do it on some other object by keeping the button half pressed till focus is locked, then take the picture of object you want.

Currently my favorite driver.

Yes, I do it the same way. Is it possible to ad there an option to adjust manual focus for macro as it is in w800 driver?

Posted by killerPK
Adding manual focus is a little too advanced for me, so i'll leave that to other modders for now. But I think that the phones autofocus is good enough.

+1 I would love to see manual focus or perhaps even a supermode like the K750i/w800i have.

Hello, dear KillePK.

Could you please make a version of it with the flash colour temperature unchanged? Or just indicate the command lines that I need to change in order to keep that setting as it is in Genus' camdriver.

Thanks in advance and congratulations for this mix mod.

Another thing:

What's the normal mode sharpness level you use in this 1.40?

Sharpness in normal mode is 04

I think the current flash color temp. is good since it doesnt make pics look reddish, anyway heres v1.40 with genus 5.9 flash color temperature.

ModMix v1.40 Customizable Sharpness

Open the camdriver0.dat with any text editing software (I use Notepad++) and go to the last line:
SET_SHARPNESS = #COM_EVENT(58,xx);
and change xx to any value you like.

@killer your driver is very good, But in your last mod the color it isnt good because they have much saturation or maybe its not the color?

this is whit your last driver,

AND THIS IS WHIT 1.3,

I THINK YOUR LAST MOD IS GETTIN A LITTLE DARK.

I WOULD TRY IN THE NIGHT, BUT YOUR DRIVER IS THE BEST.

3:55pm and 12:52pm - sun in somewhere else (no shadow on roof). so, you must agree that light conditions are completely different. this can explain why those pics are different

Raiderski has identified the reason, the lighting conditions are different thats why pics look different. For comparisons its very important to take pics at the same time to get exact lighting conditions for the drivers being compared. Anyway thanks for trying the driver, post some Super Landscape mode pics with v1.40 if you can. Have fun.

But for me archive is better....

To be honest I dont even know myself , because i only increased the CC_R_FLASH values so that red color is decreased, which makes wooden doors look more brown which otherwise become too much reddish. The flash color temp. for ISO400 should be the same 5700K while the others would be a bit less than their previous temp.

Oops i read it wrong, u were asking what flash color temperature means, i thought u asked what the flash color temp. in the modmix is

Ofcourse they are for anyone who wants to see full res sample pics of my camdriver, thats why i put the link in first post also.

Btw,the pix are amazing for me!
Can you tell me how I can increase colours (at 5-10-15%) and decrease brightness (at 5-10-15%)in the pic?
I mean driver settings....?
Tnx!

Well, to increase the colours get the customizable sharpness/saturation driver and try different values for saturation and keep whichever value you like best. As for the brightness, open the camdriver0.dat and go to:

SET_SATURATION = COM_EVENT(58,xx);

and replace it with:

SET_SATURATION = COM_EVENT(58,xx)
COM_EVENT(54,yy);

Now just put saturation value you want in xx and brightness value in yy. Experiment with them all you want and choose whats best for you.

Oh and be warned, this brightness value will be used for ALL pics, so it could make daylight pics overbright.

Oh ok then,in that case it would make night pics more dark . You can use values like FF (-1), FE (-2) to decrease brightness.

Posted by killerPK
and if your going to ask about contrast next, its COM_EVENT(55,zz)
Just put it in the file like this:
SET_SATURATION = COM_EVENT(58,xx)
COM_EVENT(55,zz)
COM_EVENT(54,yy);

and voila, zz is the contrast value

Posted by Goldmen
I will use joystick to adjust brightness at night...
But night pix are 5% from my album and 95% are on daylight...

[ This Message was edited by: Goldmen on 2007-12-29 14:40 ]

Posted by killerPK
And after this, im thinking of making a fully customizable camdriver with saturation,sharpness,brightness,contrast and any other thing you could suggest

Btw joystick adjusts the exposure value, not brightness.
