So then, how do I actually use this?

I can connect to my PC without a problem and I have songs playing in Media Player but when I press the relevant buttons on my phone to skip track/pause etc, nothing happens.

Can anyone tell me how it works cause it would be very useful if I could control Media Player without me having to go to my PC every time I want to change track.

I guess you mean the Bluetooth Remote.

What's needed is for both the computer and phone to have Bluetooth. The computer must also support HID profiles, but that's quite normal these days.

Then simply press the Media remote on the phone and select what device to use it on. Should work.

Yep, the Bluetooth remote. I guess my PC must not support HID profiles, its a fair few years old so I suppose its a possibility. I'll try it on my laptop, not really much point in using it with my laptop but at least I'll know it works!!
