I think is one software that Sony Ericsson through encryption algorithm to protect the cell phone, the CID different algorithms for different grades, there are common CID16, CID29, CID36, CID37, CID49, the CID higher , the more complex algorithm, such as the K800 cell phone, etc. is CID49, K750 that is CID36 have CID49. CID placed in the two part of cell phones ,both OTP chip and FLASH.

Hello adnan

The W810 does support CID 49 and CID 50

Have you first updated your phone using the SEUS service to the latest software version. On occasions SEUS does update the phone automaticaly to the latest revision of CID

These are the current revision of firmware and CID
R4EK001 CID50
R4EK001 CID49
R4EA031 CID50
R4EA031 CID49
R4DB005 CID49
R4CK003 CID49
R4CF002 CID49
R4CE012 CID49

CID means Certificate identification.

The phones EROM CID must match the firmware CID

All the above is taken from http://www.wotanserver.com/support/index.php which is a excellent source of Info for SE phones.

If you need any more let me know

If you are not sure then take great care. Updating the software or changing the CID in any way is at your own risk and if anything goes wrong you could end up having a brick as a phone. So please take extra care before you do anything your not sure of.

As it clearly states

WARNING: EVERYTHING YOU DECIDE TO DO WITH YOUR PHONE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. ME OR ANYONE ELSE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGE MADE TO YOUR PHONE DUE TO UNPROPER USING THE PROGRAMS INCLUDED IN THE GUIDE!!!
