1. download vividcolors version
2. find all #COM_EVENT(58,xx) - 'normal' mode and 'doc' mode
3. set xx to: 00 (neutral) - 1D (insane)
Posted by nik.ditsov
Currently it's 58,01!
Is that too much?
What about the sharpness?Is it OK on 08?

Absolutely no. That's why the other drivers sucks. (with respect to all)

definitely one of the best i have tried so far....
the twilight mode is as good as it gets. shutter isnt that slower to cause blurry shots. and the image stabilizer was utilized very well.
congratulations!

I found one bug
Whenever I use AF, the pics turn out blur. The subject isnt focused. The prob is quite serious comparing to Genus and Modmixv1 drivers.
But the landscape mode is e best among all imo.
So no one else found this AF bug so far?

Sharpness 08 really good???
How about we compare to the n73 sharpness, is that 08 is sharper than n73 sharpness? I think n73 sharpness is ok alrdy.
I wan to see more post of the photo, plz upload the real size photo, so that i can use the 19' LCD screen to view it.

As far as I know the AF cannot work fine when trying to focus middle distance objects at extreme darkness. That's because of the power of the red led. The stock driver has that problem too. Too less information for the AF algorithm.

i enjoy the saturation on 07.. is there a difference between standard (no sat.) and 01 ? anyone can give examples (outdoor with good light conditions). also sharpness 08 is only good for macros. First i always used 08 and loved the sharpness, but now 06 is better. Sharp enough, but not oversharpened. Good work. I LOVE the twilight mode, but sticking to nr1+kopritis camdriver mod.

Hi jomateixa, i've just installed your driver. I'd like to know about red led on doc mode has already enabled or not? Because on my phone it still turn off. I'd love red led in doc mode, good for low light condition, thx

norbi, if you like sharp 07 just search the code for:
#COM_EVENT(56,08)
and replace 08 by 07. We are loving 08 and I can't see jagged edges or oversharpening or something negative like that.
YES, there's a difference between 00 and 01. Look 3rd post.
With 02 the quality begins to suck.
Cheers!

Hey Bundy I forget to say you something. Do not take too much pics with the flash so close to the face of the cat cause he's very young and you could damage that beautiful eyes. I don't want that to happen!

@jomateixa
There is grain when sharpness 08, when i view it using high resolution LCD, Normal LCD or monitor view the picture with sharpness 08 is great, but if we use high resolution LCD view it, more detail we can view, so this is say 'oversharpen' as told by number1.
The video fps dont seem to improve the quality of video, increasing the fps will make the video record more faster only. For example you can see the 150FPS video recording, this gv very slow motion effect. The red AF-LED sometime will not work in video mode if you increase FPS. The quality of video will improve if you can increase the video size kB/s.
And also:
seq_set_prop_14 = $s5 %0
$-5 OF <===== why you put this???
#COM_EVENT(55,$w5);
Plz tell us wat does the meaning of $-5 code?
Wat's mean by real color??? i dont see any change you do. Plz state it out.
COM_EVENT(58,01)??? That too low to see any changes. YOu can try it by put this value in off flash with 01, auto flash with 00 using 2.5 camdriver. Then you can test the value changes by juz changing the flash mode
00 color
01 color (very little different )
00
01
07 color ( same as k850i )
HEre is it, for you to refer

Please watch the third post on the first page of this topic. The difference on the lighter color is touchable.
- "The video fps dont seem to improve the quality of video, increasing the fps will make the video record more faster only"
You're a true genius!. I never said something like the more fps, the more quality.
- "There is grain when sharpness 08, when i view it using high resolution LCD, Normal LCD or monitor view the picture with sharpness 08 is great, but if we use high resolution LCD view it, more detail we can view, so this is say 'oversharpen' as told by number1."
FALSE
- "$-5 OF <===== why you put this???"
I didn't put this. I you read my fuxxing post you can see what fixes putted burner8 and me.
- "Wat's mean by real color??? i dont see any change you do. Plz state it out.

LOL. View the third post on the first page on this topic.
Stop talking to me please. You have no idea and you'll have destroyed the driver if people didn't help you.

For indoor pics without flash if you use Twilight portrait with -1.0EV to -2.0EV you will get very less noise, I added this to the first post. Thanks.

Ok I will sent this cat to you- my hands are all with wounds- sharp teeth hehe
P.S. To other modders- don't attach improved photos- this is not a competition- we want to watch the original photos from k800i. It's very easy to make photo better. For example:
Original photo
This same photo but more beautifull:)
What is the sense of upload improved photos? More comments. People ask which driver do you use- this is not driver- this is PhotoShop or other program. This is not fair, so upload only original photo- then we will see for yourself which driver is the best

To disable forced flash (it bothered me too):
Delete this code :
//********************************************************************
// Internal/External xenon flash support, property 14 ***
//********************************************************************
// 0 => OFF 1 => not impl. 2 => Auto
// 3 => Auto RER 4 => Forced ON
//--------------------------------------------------------------------
seq_set_prop_e_0 = $sb 00 // OFF
$c9 08 // R5 camera version?
#COM_EVENT(5a,00)
$cl // Else R6 version
#COM_EVENT(5a,08)
$cx;
seq_set_prop_e_1 = ; // No external flash
seq_set_prop_e_2 = $sb 04 // Forced ON, for service menu and production tests
$c9 08 // R5 camera version?
#COM_EVENT(5a,83) // Forced xenon 0b10000011, slow sync at beginning
$cl
#COM_EVENT(51,00) // Sensor scene "Auto 00"
#COM_EVENT(5a,8b) // FLASH_MODE 0b10001011: Flash on, RER off, sync on beginning.
$cx;
seq_set_prop_e_3 = $sb 03; // Auto, red-eye
seq_set_prop_e_4 = $sb 04 // Forced ON, for service menu and production tests
$c9 08 // R5 camera version?
#COM_EVENT(5a,83) // Forced xenon 0b10000011, slow sync at beginning
$cl
#COM_EVENT(51,00) // Sensor scene "Auto 00"
#COM_EVENT(5a,9b) // FLASH_MODE 0b10001011: Flash on, RER off, sync on beginning.
$cx;
AND write copy this code instead (its from kopritis 271):
//********************************************************************
// Internal/External xenon flash support, property 14 ***
//********************************************************************
// 0 => OFF 1 => not impl. 2 => Auto
// 3 => Auto RER 4 => Forced ON
//--------------------------------------------------------------------
seq_set_prop_e_0 = $sb 00 // OFF
$c9 08 // R5 camera version?
#COM_EVENT(5a,00)
$cl // Else R6 version
#COM_EVENT(5a,08)
$cx;
seq_set_prop_e_1 = ; // No external flash
seq_set_prop_e_2 = $sb 02; // Auto
seq_set_prop_e_3 = $sb 03; // Auto, red-eye
seq_set_prop_e_4 = $sb 04 // Forced ON, for service menu and production tests
$c9 08 // R5 camera version?
#COM_EVENT(5a,83) // Forced xenon 0b10000011, slow sync at beginning

#COM_EVENT(51,00) // Sensor scene "Auto 00"
#COM_EVENT(5a,9b) // FLASH_MODE 0b10001011: Flash on, RER off, sync on beginning.
$cx;
Thats it.

Thanks gineK0log. But I think it's more powerful to have FF. When you're used to disable it at daylight it doesn't bother too much
Anyway, better if each one put it how he/she likes.

What do you think about this? Which driver is better? For me Genus Cmdrv has too much colours, Ultimate somtimes lack of colours
