can you optimize the other scenes too? I would like a good beach/snow mode with good WB and stabilizer. also good settings for landscape (landscape should have max colors, as they look very good - blue sky with green grass ^_^ ) and 06 sharpness is fine, with image stabilizer (i dont know if that thing works at all, or i dont see a difference)
P.S. when i switch ti nightmode in VR, nothing happens. With or without nightmode the VR is the same for me :/ obviously should be lower FPS with nightmode and more noise+higher iso. its FW bug? and if nighmode VR doesn't cause bestpic bug, we should use 25FPS or 30 FPS for it... just when is nigh VR active? when u switch it on and see the moon icon on bottom??
1. Beach/snow already have good WB by default
2. Landscape has a lot of colour and 06 sharpness
3. You can put image stabilizer manually in Landscape mode
4. Night mode video works and has 7,5 fps like default driver. Normal video mode has 12 fps (default is 10).
5. If I put higher fps in night video mode --> we lose the night video mode. My philosophy is to lose nothing. Put it like you want:

In Withan you can use Auto + RER as standard mode. You only have to remember that:
1) Flash: Auto --> Special flash mode (Daylight, slow sync)
2) Flash: RER --> Party modes
3) If you are in Auto and go switching to Twilight portrait and Portrait, you are increasing flash shutter time
4) Portrait mode is for Indoors (uh...should I put the Indoor mode in 'Twilight Portrait'?, I think so...)

You're correct. I agree with u that Indoor mode should be in "Twilight Portrait".
Pls change it in next release.
Thanks.

Yeah but I remembered why I putted in Portrait, The Party mode II (1/8) is used a lot more often than Party mode III (1/2), so if I put the Indoor mode that has 1/4 shutter it will bother a lot when taking pics in low light (more time focusing). But I can switch the Party modes too... I will do it if it's a general demand:
Twilight portrait: 1/4 slow shutter, 1/2 flash shutter
Portrait: 1/12 slow shutter, 1/8 flash shutter
Let's begin the votation.
Really it has more sense

V3 has two indoor modes:) Portrait without flash is bright and colourful but it is necessery to hold hand very still (even place on some surface). Twilight landscape with EV-2.0 is also very clear and noise-free but a lil' bit darker, in the other hand it is possible of making non-blurred photos with hand.
Portrait without flash:
TL EV-2.0

Difference between Withan (v3) and s3
V3
S3
Posted by naveedaziz83
Twilight portrait: 1/4 slow shutter, 1/2 flash shutter
Portrait: 1/12 slow shutter, 1/8 flash shutter
wht is 1/12 slow shutter .. i understand 1/2 flash is party mode 3 . and 1/4 is special indoor mode and 1/8 is party mode 2
EDIT: My 100th post...wohoo..

The Daylight flash mode generally is for shot a medium or near distance object in high light having as a result well balanced lights in object and background. For these pics better use Daylight mode II that has ISO 100, but it really doesn't make sense to use the flash in landscape pics.
I have not seen a well done sample with daylight flash yet in this post
TIP:
1. Try Daylight flash mode I portrait shot (1/6400, ISO 250) at evening.
2. Try Daylight flash mode II portrait (near) shot (1/6400, ISO 100) at daylight.
2. Try Party mode II (1/8, ISO 320) at sunrise.

I've observed the photos taken with K790i in this forum, and found K790i gives much better photos than K800i, especially sharpness. Am i correct?

joma, will you aplay your driver settings into k850 driver - if there will be such possibility? i'm so pissed of when compare k800 with your driver and k850 taken photos

this happenes because portrait with flash is a slow-sync mode and with 2s in good light conditions photos always will be white

to ssnopyybg, itīs not very hard to hold the hand still to take the TL pictures...if you canīt hold then decrease EV

I love ur camdriver very much. But in new version, i could not find any mode to take photo in daylight without flash, ISO 100 and with shutter speed 1/6400s.
That's why i'm still using ur V3 rev 0.
Posted by jokamaciek
I don't know what think about it... Here is picture made by portrait without flash (indoor) and it doesn't look nice...
But more contrast and real colours i got from Landcape:
Also good but less real colour has AUTO without flash (indoor)

In Rev.0 you cannot do that neither...
ISO 100, 1/6400s are referred to FLASH only. Read carefully, it is "Xenon ISO"

So portrait + no flash is normal portrait with no flash, or is it still an indoor mode with no flash and reduced FPS?

1. The first, for me looks nice. Maybe need negative EV setting.
2. The colours in landscape are different because this mode has daylight WB (by default, like in original driver).
3. Just choose the WB that you want. Auto mode and Twilight portrait have default WB (Auto).
