I might be wrong, but I think 2.44 withan with 08 sharpness is just PERFECT for daylight pictures:

The same problem.
There are certain settings that call for the joystick to perform. This latest driver is fine but not perfect though perfection is something that the present camdriver modders are yet to achieve.
I expect more from joma and No 1.
as with acoustics, pedrops v2 hifi is the best!. irrreplaceable.

What settings? I tested all modes/settings and I don't have that problem in V3. Maybe it's because of the patches/shit do you have in your phone.

well, tested it, so far so good. I think compression is ok, but code is "bad". Most of the time it crashed was when used with Flash on. I got 1 crash after camera update, but still testing, hope it was only a minor bug. Good driver so far

You are the 'crash man' LoL, how you do it? The compression is the default 90%. But there's an explanation. If you use a slow sync mode at day or in a place with too much light you will get a full white pic and it may exceed the 900 Kb. I think it will not crash on a well done pic! Hey do this: put setting to low quality (75%) and try to make it crash with all your force

I still don't understand why Daylight flash mode EXIF is 1/5000 instead 1/6400. I didn't modify the flash shutter speeds in the V3 making. I will try to fix it these days

Flash shutter is fixed no matter the environment. I thought that it could be the viewfinder change but it isn't, really I don't know why yet

thats because i force the camera to its limits i know every setting, and i know in wich condition what mode to use >:D and another reason is because there are days when i take 300+ shots..
but i crashed pix on auto mode + flash in mid light condition (tryed to snap a jumping cat, and i got it 2x in perfect angle, then it crashed - i almost smashed my phone then in anger) =)

reason of all white pics and crash is ridiculous. as number1 wrote quality is ~100%, you can notice also that file size is very small (camera is much closer to crash than in any other case)
1. typical crash (memory buffer overflow) - too high quality, too big max file size, huge amount of details or pure green color
reverse this...
2. all white crash - too low quality, too big min file size, very low amount of details
compression algorithm is trying to fit picture to min file size rule but sometimes this is impossible (all white = small size) in this case crash will come. i know this from K750 modding, when min file size is at 50-100kb problem doesn't exist. at least it's hard to do all white pics, so nothing to worry about
