It's possible, but I don't know. Anyway you should update the firmware to latest and test it.

would this be great on r8 firmware?

These pics are from K800 R8 I have, I don't have the K790 for test and I don't know why there's the exposure problem. That only happens to you with Ultimate? Can you post any pic with that problem?

day pic is very great but night mode really bad.. try to create a clear night shot like genus camdriver with super night mode then ur camdriver will be the ultimate one..

I would appreciate a pic comparison between genus and Ultimate nightmodes

Posted by jomateixa
With 1.14 (1,5 fps shutter) I noticed more noise in night shots (but lighter). I'm not liking it :S
Version 2.0 Final with Super night mode is coming..

Contrast is #COM_EVENT(55,XX) but you must not to change it there and I don't recommend you to increase it

The sample pictures are stunning!

Almost without "electrical noise"! And the greys are pure!
This is unbelievable!

Can't wait to get my USB cable to flash my phone.

Tnx guys!

P.S.

Careful those who seek high contrast and saturation. Because it always goes no expense of quality. And it is better to push up contrast and colors in PC (Photoshop or Picassa for example).

But higher contrast always means less colors.

Don't you have the USB cable? For installing the driver isn't necessary to flash it, you can do it with FAR manager patched for DB2020

Currently my favourite driver...

to jomateixa, can you please turn off the AF LED in document mode?

It made my picture too bright since your driver allows me to focus nearer objects.

to be precise: contrast doesn't change exposure time but ofcourse can do pic brighter ("contrast" is mix of contrast and brightness) as you noticed

everything what jomateixa wrote is true. the best idea is to hold contrast and brightness at lowest possible value for normal pics

jomateixa, again same bug in your driver...
When i turn on camera, or change on another scene there is bug...
Here is 2 pics in document mode, first pic is horrible but second its ok...

what bug ?... explain

Posted by jomateixa
I never had that problem, I think what occurs to you isn't a bug, just that you can't move back or forward (even a little) the phone after zoom lock (green square).

Posted by milan91
I have that problem... i put my phone on table, put on auto mode, all auto take picture, picture are too dark and flash like ISO 100, but when again took picture then its ok
No i am not only who had that problem, i know more peoples...
But with genus or kopritis i dont have that problem...

You have K810 firmware. I'm not saying that's the problem but I use K800 with R8 and is working perfect. But the most stable solution is to use the R1KG, cause R8 is not an official release and some K800 phones cannot use it (have important bugs). Maybe not all K800/K810 models have EXACTLY the same hardware.

Maybe its that problem but why all camdrivers works fine, but with your there is problem
This is only bug, my phone works fine, all patches work, all modds work, genus 6.0 work...
Yes maybe some k800/k810 dont have same hw, maybe there is difference like k750 cid49 and cid36
What is your product code, of your k800??

Product code? What do you refer to?

Posted by milan91
Maybe there is difference between k800i producted in january of 2007 and k800i producted in september 2007
You can view your product code when you remove battery, and there is code like this: 07W50 or 07W20
My product code is 07W21

Maybe we have different camera modules
Can anyone with k800+k810 R8B try ultimate camdriver

Posted by faidz85
Can I request a non-FF version of both Vivid and Standard please? T_T

I always missed some great pictures since I forgot to off the flash and snap away resulting over unbelievably bright useless pictures =(

just open the driver with notepad and do this :

Delete this code :
//********************************************************************
// Internal/External xenon flash support, property 14 ***
//********************************************************************
// 0 => OFF 1 => not impl. 2 => Auto
// 3 => Auto RER 4 => Forced ON
//--------------------------------------------------------------------

seq_set_prop_e_0 = $sb 00 // OFF
$c9 08 // R5 camera version?
#COM_EVENT(5a,00)
$cl // Else R6 version
#COM_EVENT(5a,08)
$cx;
seq_set_prop_e_1 = ; // No external flash
seq_set_prop_e_2 = $sb 04 // Forced ON, for service menu and production tests
$c9 08 // R5 camera version?
#COM_EVENT(5a,83) // Forced xenon 0b10000011, slow sync at beginning
$cl
#COM_EVENT(51,00) // Sensor scene "Auto 00"
#COM_EVENT(5a,8b) // FLASH_MODE 0b10001011: Flash on, RER off, sync on beginning.
$cx;
seq_set_prop_e_3 = $sb 03; // Auto, red-eye

#COM_EVENT(5a,9b) // FLASH_MODE 0b10001011: Flash on, RER off, sync on beginning.
$cx;

AND write copy this code instead (its from kopritis 271):

//********************************************************************
// Internal/External xenon flash support, property 14 ***
//********************************************************************
// 0 => OFF 1 => not impl. 2 => Auto
// 3 => Auto RER 4 => Forced ON

With 1 sec exposure is not so difficult to hold and take good pics. All people wanted super night pics so there it is. There's difference with image stabilizer, but logically it won't work so fine as in 0.5 seconds exposure

Night pic with auto mode...how it could be good?

Cheers

I think it's normal (not a bug on my driver) cause zoom remain locked at infinite. Anyone can test with other driver? Thanks

Does this go for "macro" also? If i go into normal scene, choose macro from the list and then go to, let say twilight portrait -
does the macro count to that scenen to? A little sharper pics?

If you select macro focus and then you change the mode to Twilight portrait the focus comes back to Auto (it doesn't remain locked like in infinite setting). But in the case it would remain locked you won't get sharper pic. Sharpness is 06 for all modes.
