auto macro flash -07

Posted by chuckiebhoi
Hello! I'm a newbie here. I just got my new k800i about a month ago. I'm quite not satisfied with the picture quality of my phone. I'm from the Philippines and I believe that this phone came from China.

I'm a bit confused with your drivers. Could you provide a step-by-step instruction on how to install it? Are all three drivers (standard, vividcolour, withan) installed all at the same time? If not, which is the best driver?

Could you also provide the best settings to get the finest picture quality? Many thanks!

i prefer Withan.. it's not installed all at the same time.. just choose 1.. and as for the settings, it will vary on the lighting condition.. there is no "standard setting" for all conditions, IMO..

cheers!

Has anybody noticed a problem with this driver? I was focusing on the blue flower and the focus was locked to it. Yet it is blurred but the green shoots on the left side appear to have got the focus. This is 2.44 Withan with Auto + Macro. Please give your opinions.

Posted by Raiderski
focus is set to closest possible distance but flower was to close?

Posted by bryanjay420
get close with the blue flower instead of the leaf on the left...

I'm not sure but I think that flower is not too close. I think it could be because of this:

#SET_REG(32,04) // Use multiple AF windows (applied when in macro mode)

Maybe if there's multiple AF windows instead of only one on the center, the algorythm will try to focus the easiest area (the flower is more plain). But you said that this is not used, so I don't know...

heheh great

yup driver lacks the possibility to take pictures with flash at close distance (1-2m). Pictures get overexposed. Can you mod the RR to have lower iso? FF is good sometimes, but pictures get overexposed. so FF x ISO, RR x-y ISO.. possible?

Posted by bryanjay420
yup i agree

Photos from today great driver

Posted by DeKosta
@urseandrei: You should really resize those photos too a smaller size. Either by uploading them to a hostsite like Photobucket or imageshack or something like that.
OR upload them to Esato's photocorner but then they get a waterstamp.

@matthew23 you need to learn a bit more about digital cameras & photography then post up your problems.

noise
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_noise
drivers have more or less noise then others it depends on shutter speeds, iso, sharpness, colour saturation. but with the k800i and it's tiny lens and cmos sensor there will always be noise.

exposure
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exposure_(photography)

Your monitor is CRT?

with EV0.0, shutter speed for that pic is 1/80sec, you should use 1/20 or 1/15sec for CRT monitors, by increasing EV.

i don't have that problem well it's not as bad i have a LG 17" plasma screen montiner i think it depends on the screen.

Posted by sadeghi85
@matthew23:

I've only ever upgraded my camera driver once using setool 2 lite 1.08, can I use this for these drivers or will I have to use XS++?

EV doesn't make sense with flash on. Read first post and learn about the special flash modes.

I know about the modes, but what I mean is eather I get overexposed pics or underexposed like this. It would be great if the EV worked with flash

Ultimate v2.44 VividColour™

I have an issue...
Is it possible...
With "Portrait + Flash RER" = No Flash + 2s, ISO 125?? For night pics?

That would be useful
